Salesman was too lazy to check my mounting pattern

Salesman was too lazy to check the mounting pattern on my plate to see if any modern engine of same HP and shaft diameter would fit. I had supplied a photo showing the precise dimensions of the mounting holes on my plate, for either Honda or Briggs and Stratton. He told me they have no suitable replacement engines. So I went to a local small engine shop nearby and they instantly found a 10HP Briggs and Stratton Vanguard that had exactly the same mounting bolt pattern. And guess what? Small Engine Warehouse are advertising the same engine for sale on their website! I replied to tell them that they were incorrect as the B&S engine was in fact a suitable replacement. I got nothing in reply. So they lost a sale but did not even seem to care. *shrug*
