Delighted with my new Screen

Purchased Touring screen for my 2003 1150 RT... only sorry I didn't do it 10 years ago!! Delighted with it! Fair price, undamaged & promp from UK to Ireland notwithstanding Brexit sh**e!! Responded promptly to question about potential additional taxes ... got it with no additional tax.. not sure how but giving them the credit!

Poor.

Product took 11 days to arrive after getting in contact which took a full day. They won't answer the phone or emails. Ended up speaking by text message telling me it had been posted when infact it hadn't. Spoke on the Thursday told me it had been posted when infact it arrived on the Sunday 24 hour delivery posted Friday. Great product let down by poor logistics and communication. Use this company with caution ⚠️

Touring screen needs help

I bought the touring screen for my Honda ST1300, since it had some positive reviews on the ST forum. It was a toss up between the Bike Quip version and this one. They looked very similar in the pictures but Slipscreen didn't have a photo of it on the bike. I recieved it, in Canada, and was surprised that it was only in a plastic bag, wrapped in cardboard. One corner of the shield was sticking out. Thankfully, it was not damaged. I was also surprised to see how little flip up there was at the top, because I thought that was the part that made all the difference. It looks awesome on my bike! Nice fit. I got the tinted one. After putting on a few hundred km, I figured this thing is not a whole lot better than the stock one, although I could travel with it a bit lower. The buffeting was still there. Living on the prairies means there is always wind and high speed limits. I ended up ordering a clip on deflector for the top of the windshield. It cost as much as the Slipscreen did! I was not happy about this, but it solved the buffeting issue. So, after spending almost $400, I have a system that works. Not as clean looking as I hoped, but I'll live with it, because my wife has banned me from buying any more windshields!

This is a company I will use again

This is a company I will use again.

So pleased to actually get a friendly polite voice at the end of a phone line and not a text message system or email.

I did have an issue with the screen not fitting my bike. I called them and they were very helpful. They organised the pick up of the original screen and delivered my replacement very quickly.

My ride is now buffeting’s free. An absolute pleasure. Even more that it was already on my R1150RT.

UPDATED: COMPANY KEPT THEIR WORD!! THANK YOU ..

This company is professional my first headlight protector has lasted a year and is still okay but want a different colour, after ordering it arrived damaged, but slipscreens promises a replacement has been sent out, so we shall see, fingers crossed it does.......else waste of 27.50...i believe they are genuine and always professional when i speak to them. I will update as and when the new one arrives, the first took 2 weeks,

but i think there made to order, and was a bank holiday too in between so cannot complain, hopefully the replacement is quicker as I really want it.

Overall i recommend this company for their professionalism and quality CUSTOM products, I Think tey must have specific cuts for each bike but then bend to shape by hand as each ive h seen fit slightly differently, thank you slipscreens i still recommend you.

Avoid at all costs

Ordered a headlight protector for my CB500x. After a week of waiting I called them direct and they said it had been dispatched. By coincidence it arrived the following day with a postal mark stating dispatched the day before!! The protector does not fit, is the incorrect shape and profile so I called them to arrange a replacement. After 5 days of calling daily, 3 emails not answered I have been forced to do credit card chargeback. A quick bit of diligence (that I didn’t do) shows multiple poor Google reviews with the same problems as I have had. I have decided to add this company to Trustpilot to warn others. I could have bought a cheap Chinese item, like an idiot I decided to buy from a company in Wales to support UK business. No good deed goes unpunished.

PayPal refuse to refund and a section 75 claim has to be between £100/£500 so my credit card cannot help. The PayPal checkout stops the CC company from simply doing a charge back, which I assume is why this company uses them. Avoid at all costs.
