My opinion is based on personal experience. Nothing here is defamatory. In Australia, cannot defame a company with 12+ employees unless identify a person. Unless you've lost at least ½ a limb or more, get 2-3 other firm's advice before shopping here! Barrister the day before the conference 'You can't sue for standing injury". I was not advised that 2 years ago?! I only received a small payout and then said 'they're not representing me anymore - Find another lawyer' and informed Workcover of this. Rarely returned calls. Scheduled video conference then cancel 2 hours before it, was not re-scheduled. I couldn't claim $18,000 medical bills from the other party, I pay that!! No-Win No Fee means law firms can charge higher rates than pay as you go... Workcover injury industry is a legalised ponzi scheme in my opinion: Because legal, IME's and medicos make the money, I got what was left over. I am worse off medically now than when Initially injured.
Great communication, Great end result, highly recommend to anyone wanting to make a claim for higher compensation on their accident .

I was part of civil suite against bank CWB and we won but i have not seen a dime of money from slater and Gorden and its been 1year or more and they never return my call and its always answer service they are not good at all and beware these people they out for themselves and this truth

Approaching Slater and Gordon with regards to my military compensation claim was the best thing I could have done.
I had received a settlement offer that left me feeling somewhat used and abused. I had worked through the claim process myself with support from an advocate. In hindsight, not my best move.
I contacted Brian Briggs at Slater and Gordon to get advice regarding that settlement offer and after a short conversation about my service history and current lifestyle and going through the offer with Brian it became very evident to me that I should have got legal representation in the first place.
As a military compensation specialist with vast experience in dealing with DVA claims, Brian was able to quickly identify shortfalls in the offer I had received and areas of potential liability I had not even considered.
At the completion of the process, Brian was able to get me a fairer and far more reasonable settlement I believe is justified and I feel happy with. I am now able to close the door on this part of my life and move ahead.
Brians Legal Assistants, Hilary Briggs and Tiiva Gampe were key to making my experience with Slater and Gordon seamless and easy. They kept me advised at every step of the claim process and actioned any requests for information I had in a timely manner.

TAC claim. Unstable injuries not taken into consideration, failure to challenge a decision that was found to a Dr giving false evidence. Did not say they no longer represented me after settlement and tell TAC. Abused my health and after I complained told me to find another law firm

Shocking at class actions . Once they get their win and fees you have to wait indefinitely for the settlement. Where is the BT Super settlement being invested in the meantime? Who gets interest in the money? Still no end in sight coming up to one year of judgment. Having read all the complaints here about the treatment of class action clients, I’d say we have enough for a class action against S&G ourselves. Obviously will be handled by a professional firm not a sausage factory. We know just the judge who would like to pass judgment on it too.

I too am one of the clients of a class action who has emailed, online chatted and called to try to get a response from Slater and Gordon. They will happily pocket the fees for the work but will not update or provide any response to enquiry. This has been going on years (Freedom Foods). S&G will no doubt respond to this review by saying email us or phone this number. I've done it multiple times already. Their responses are just lip service. Fee for no service.
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the lack of response to my multiple enquiries about the WP CCI Class Action, dating back to February of this year.
Over the past six months, I have made more than ten attempts to contact your New Client Services and Feedback departments via email, submitted more than ten online enquiries through your website, and requested call-backs on more than ten occasions through your call centers. Additionally, I sent a registered letter to your Melbourne office, which, like all my other attempts, remains unanswered.
Despite these repeated efforts, I have received no response and no information regarding the compensation amount I am entitled to. This level of service is completely unacceptable.
I have submitted another request to be contacted via email to the New Client Services team via the website and via email today and expect to be contacted and am unsure why an organisation like Slater & Gordon displays such unacceptable behaviour. Whilst I understand that there is a backlog and high volumes of enquiries I don't accept this as a reason for not being contacted at all within the last six months.
I would absolutely recommend Audrey Gunn, Wendy Stanley
and all the staff at Slater and Gordon Lawyers Geelong. They have been so amazing throughout a very difficult time and made the whole process smooth and easy.
My overall experience with Slater and Gordon with regard to my DVA claims was a 5 year process but it was with it. For me it was a great deal less stressful than going down other assistance pathways.

The Dust Disease Team at Slater and Gorden were fantastic, Raelene, Brieanna and Ashley. They all offered support and advice from start to finish. Very caring and empathetic during the whole process, nothing was ever a problem at all, even though I asked so many questions. The knowledge of every person on the team was beyond my expectations. The Dust disease team would return my calls promptly, which made me feel important. I would have no hesitation in recommending them, for anyone looking at a Dust Disease claim.
I am super impressed with the professionalism of the dust disease team. It was appreciated the effort that Raelene, Brieanna and Ashley went to, finding more information for my dad’s case.

Disappointing experience with Slater Gordon class action team. I’m part of a Class Action that was settled in 2023, the distribution to members were due Feb 24 and many of us have received nothing. Will not respond to emails, calls or the message portal. Only have to check their facebook or reddit to find many in the same situation.

Terrible customer service, Slater Gordon will take you under their wing in any class action, then once it is settled they take their money and you don’t hear from them. Many of us are awaiting payments due Feb/March this year and they will not even reply to emails, calls or message portal. You are a pawn they use to line their own pockets then they will forget about you
