We were very disappointed as soon as we…

We were very disappointed as soon as we walked in. We could hear a person singing which was out of tune and tbh annoying. My eight year old immediately said she doesn't like it. It is a glorified fair. We literally left within the first 10 minutes.
It is a genuine scam. Most of the things promised were missing. We paid extra £13 for bouncy castle and a pathetic and old looking bouncy castle was up and the rest were in the ground . They said it was too hot. It wasn't that hot....
If you can take away one thing it's that do something else on the day. Don't waste your money.

This was the most disappointing event

This was the most disappointing event, I've attended in a long time. It was such a let down, the pictures make it look like hot air balloons are up and around all day, this is not the case. They was meant to inflate at 9pm, to which we was told they couldn't because of wind. So the three, YES THREE, balloons they had was not going up and the basket flame would do the lights to music. Well I think the pilots were asleep as the music was playing but no basket flames in time to it or co ordinated in anyway. Dont waste your time or money on tickets.

We left SkyGlow feeling scammed

We left SkyGlow feeling very disappointed. We bought "early bird" tickets believing we were getting the best price, only to see tickets sold for up to 50% less closer to the event.

The event itself didn't match our expectations based on the advertising. The "inflatable theme park" was little more than a single overcrowded bouncy castle, several attractions felt underwhelming, and the overall family entertainment was nowhere near what had been promoted.

To make matters worse, once inside we found the prices for rides, inflatables and food had been massively inflated. The funfair rides were extremely expensive, food and drinks were heavily overpriced, and we weren't allowed to bring our own refreshments on a very hot day, leaving families with little choice but to pay the prices being charged.

Overall, it felt very poor value for money and fell well short of the family festival experience we had been promised. We have requested a refund and, unfortunately, won't be returning.

Just dont bother!!

Well, im so glad I got half price early bird tickets.. but even that was a rip off!!!
An absolute money grabbing scam in every way, with hardly anything as advertised.. NO big top with circus skills, NO inflatable funfair, NO kids entertainment apart from rides at £6 a pop, overpriced food stalls and £6 for a can of warm cider at the bar, stated NO food or drink to be brought in, but families around us had full picnics ffs! A couple of the music tributes were good, but the majority were appalling especially the headline Madness duo who were so off their faces on something they could barely stand let alone sing.. and then the supposed main event with hot air balloons was one single effort with just out of time burners from empty baskets!!
Reckon Trading Standards are going to have a field day on these shysters 🤬

Scam do not book this....

Scam do not book this..... i Can't give any lower score if I tried.
1, paid extra for inflatable session only to find 1 bouncy castle that was over run with big kids running wild and to be told no other children was allowed on. Very upset 2yr
2, Bluey and Bingo disappeared while we was waiting in the que 30mins only to get to the front to find out they had gone and never came back upset 2yr again.
3, Food and drink over price £8 a pint warm cans nothing healthy (for kids)
4, Acts and sounds system not great
5, No Balloons the whole reason we was there heard a semi an announcement around 8ish went over to where the hot air balloons was taking off to be told it wasn't happening because of a breeze (it's just a big rip off)
No one on site to talk to, security were rude, told to email compliant and might get a refund?

Great day out

Having seen some of the reviews was a tad nervous but we had a fantastic day, yeah the food was expensive but if you put that to one side and just enjoy a good day out.

Music was good, some of the acts were really good, bike show was great my son and I really enjoyed it and watched it twice which was good as the two show were different. We managed to go into a hot air balloon basket with a meet and greet even had a go at the flames 🔥

It was too windy to launch the show in the evening but they did manage to get one up and do a show.

Over all a great day out for the family and the tickets are very cheap so can't argue with that.

This is a glorified fun fair with an entrance fee

This is a glorified fun fair with an entrance fee. Nothing that they advertise for kids is even there. They are avertising different days in the same venues. And looking at other reviews it looks like this company is travelling around the country scamming many people. Dont waste your money. I ended up taking my daughter and her friends to the local arcades and they had so much more fun. I wouldnt bother emailing them for refunds, every person i have spoken to are sending emails about this company. I expect they wont be replying to the hundreds of complaints they are undoubtedly going to constantly receive. I'd contact your bank for a charge back if you intend on cancelling.

Absolutely awful company and event

Absolutely awful company and event. Arrived to a festival expecting a big top tent with acts and events for children… not there. The upgrade for the “inflatable theme park” was one medium sized bouncy castle with far too many children on it.
The funfair was overpriced at an average of £6 a ride. Slushies £7 etc
I have emailed for a refund as it was an absolute waste of our day.
Balloons didn’t go up. Tribute acts were mediocre at best. Certainly not as advertised or described. Scam!

Went to the one in West Sussex

Went to the one in West Sussex, took my three year old to see Bluey and Friends, when arrived the security told us Bluey is not here, ok so thought we take her to the kids bit, guess what there was no kids bit as advertised. This place is just a money making scam, avoid. Also the Temu version of lady Gaga was funny, stayed and hour and left.

I’d give it zero if I could

I’d give it zero if I could! Absolute con! Glorified over priced travelling fun fair with a country soundtrack! Acts were awful! Overpriced bog standard food stalls! The only country merch available tacky fluffy cowboy hats and tshirts that said “save a horse ride a cowboy” zero class and rather embarrassing! No authentic American country vibes! No whiskey stalls or axe throwing as promised! Absolute waste of money and time! If your thinking of booking don’t bother! Cost the same as three nights bed and breakfast with flights and transfers to Costa brava!

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish. The ‘extreme’ bike show as we entered set the scene for the continuing disappointment of the whole afternoon- two guys, two bikes, and a couple of small ramps- seen more impressive displays in our local skate park.

The kids area that was advertised was pretty much a tiny tent with not much happening, nothing like what was promised. The couple of events they did have were so crammed full of people you couldn’t even get a look in.

The fairground was extortionate- at least £5 per person per ride.

Couldn’t get anywhere near the stage, the poor layout meant the stage was crammed in one corner with all the food and drink vans, so getting a drink was near impossible unless you wanted to queue for 20 minutes. Don’t even ask about the insane food prices!

We were told beforehand we could bring re-fillable water bottles, but when we wanted to fill them, the medical tent did not know where the tap was, and the bar had ‘run out’ of tap water which meant spending £3 on a 500ml bottle of water every time we wanted a drink.

Toilets- there was about 10 portaloos for the entire festival. Had to queue for 20 minutes, which was brilliant with 2 small children in tow.

Total rip off all round- we left after 2 hours as there was nothing for the kids to do unless you wanted to spend another £50 in the fairground.

An absolute con

An absolute con. It was advertised as a festival for children, but when we arrived it was full of groups of adults in cowboy and cowgirl outfits who were clearly very drunk. It was so overcrowded that we couldn’t even get close to the very small stage in the most unsuited area of the field.

Rides near stage loud causing overlap of sound.

The “kids’ area” was simply a funfair, meaning we paid an entry fee only to have to pay extra for every ride.

The worst part was when the children needed the toilet. We had to queue through the adult festival area, where people were being sick and openly talking about drugs. It was completely inappropriate for a family event and not at all what was advertised. Very disappointing, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to families with young children

Scammers

I’ll let you have 1 star because to be honest spending time with the kids is always a bonus, but honestly don’t be fooled by the advertisement . Though they put up schedule a day before for there recent Cheltenham event, I saw nothing that they claimed to be on there. No inflatables, no circus, no bumblebee, no glow rave, no led display robot, didn’t see the bikes move though they set up an area for it. No characters and to top it off £3 for a can of Coke, a mile walk to the car park and because of the wind no hot air ballon’s. Complete waste of money, I booked early bird tickets £13 then a couple of weeks before the event they dropped to £5. Tickets were not even checked properly. Oh and the music absolutely shocking honestly sounded awful.

Don’t even bother

This was basically a giant fun fair that you would usually enter for free, but with a ticket price! Nothing like advertised. £10 per person to ride a monster truck, not a show. The time we spent cost us over £100. The rides were all cash and overpriced, this wasn’t noted as a cash event. 80% of the space was consumed by the funfair and a small area at the back had a stage for the music. A small gazebo was present for the children’s entertainment that hadn’t even begun when we left, this was the only shade available in the whole event, so was stacked full of people and children with no access left for obvious reasons. I saw no bubble fairies or characters and gave up waiting as the heat was too much.
No inflatable fun fair on sight at all.
I would leave a zero star review if I could. Not as advertised, it’s an overpriced massive cash grab.

Good day out if loaded

Opened 30 mins late, everything was ridiculously priced and so lucky we had lunch before attending. Rides £5pp, there was a pink waffle and crep van that was £10 for a waffle with chocolate ane banana and was just one you wack in the toaster 🤦🏼‍♀️. If you dont have money in wouldn't go as so much the kids will want to do but unrealistic prices for most families and be cheaper and better to go to a paultons park or something. Not allowed to take food or drink in (they check bags but i saw loads sneak in food and drink) and a can of fanta was £3 to put into perspective 🤪.

Absolute scam and not in any way a 'festival'

Absolute scam. Not a festival in any way as they're marketing it. Ridiculous prices to get in then no stunts, balloons, glow raves or anything in sight that they promised. If however you like massively over priced rides, food, 8 hook a duck stalls, 9 dart stalls and the WORST impersonators ever, this is the place for you. Contacting companies house too to show how much of a scam they are.
