The product itself is good, however the delivery service was terrible and there is no real customer service. Original courier company uses a delivery partner for UK deliveries, which they don’t communicate in any way. Apparently courier company attempted delivery multiple times, however there is NO WAY of knowing when they plan to deliver. Whenever status was showing as “Out for delivery” on original courier tracker, we rearranged our plans to stay at home, however no delivery was made, whilst tracker status said “Failed delivery at doorstep” - they never attempted delivery!!! Sklum customer service was only sending some automated/bot replies. Overall it took over a month to get the order. Will never order again.

We purchased a headboard from Sklum and the experience was extremely disappointing. The product arrived with serious design and assembly defects. The black screws protruded too far from the wood, leaving the surface uneven and causing significant damage to our wall when we tried to install it. The screws deeply scratched the paint and plaster, and we had to remove them ourselves to avoid further damage.
In addition, the metal brackets on the headboard were installed too deeply into the wood, making it impossible to mount properly using the wall fixture provided by Sklum. The depth and spacing of the brackets did not match the wall hook system included, so we had to manually modify the product by adding material between the wood and the metal supports just to make installation possible.
For the price paid, this level of quality is completely unacceptable, especially considering the additional repair costs we now face because of the wall damage. What made the experience even worse was customer service’s response, which showed little interest in resolving the issue or taking responsibility for the defects.
I would not recommend this experience.

Compramos un cabecero en Sklum y la experiencia fue muy decepcionante. El producto llegó con graves problemas de diseño y montaje. Los tornillos negros sobresalían demasiado de la madera, dejando la superficie irregular y provocando daños importantes en nuestra pared al intentar instalar el cabecero. Los tornillos rayaron profundamente la pintura y el yeso, y tuvimos que retirarlos nosotros mismos para evitar más daños.
Además, los soportes metálicos del cabecero estaban montados demasiado profundos dentro de la madera, haciendo imposible instalarlo correctamente con el sistema proporcionado por Sklum. La distancia y profundidad de los soportes no coincidían con el gancho de pared incluido, por lo que tuvimos que modificar manualmente el producto añadiendo material entre la madera y las piezas metálicas para poder instalarlo.
Es totalmente inaceptable recibir un producto de esta calidad por el precio pagado, especialmente cuando además nos ha generado gastos adicionales para reparar nuestra pared. Lo más frustrante fue la respuesta del servicio de atención al cliente, que no ofreció una solución adecuada ni asumió responsabilidad por los defectos del producto.
No recomendaría esta experiencia.

This is the worst company I have ever used. First, they delivered everything 2 weeks late. Then, some parts were missing, so I waited another week only to end up still not getting the whole sofa. I have part of the sofa, but the rest is lost. Customer support is extremely slow to reply and just sends generic copy-paste messages

Quite disappointing about the delivery service
I made an order the 08/03 I was supposed to receive my chair and table by 15/05 which was already a long wait.
Now it's been pushback to end of June.

No product received and no money back
I have never received my order which I placed two months ago and customer service doesn’t want to process any refund. It’s really disappointing that they’re keeping the money while providing no solution, they just keep extending the processing time. I would not recommend this shop, I feel like I got scammed.

My first order, placed back in March, was never delivered, and it took over two months to get a refund.
I then placed another order, and this one has now also gone missing.
SEUR, the courier, cannot find the parcel, and the tracking number supplied by Sklum is not valid in SEUR’s system.
This makes me seriously question whether the order was ever dispatched in the first place. I cannot say for certain what is happening behind the scenes, but from a customer’s point of view it feels like Sklum may be selling items they are unable to fulfil properly.
This is now two failed orders, invalid tracking, no clear courier information, and a previous refund that took months. That is not acceptable.
Do not order from this company.

Considerable delay delivering the items compared to stated delivery date when I ordered—and one packing crate was incorrectly labelled, resulting in the delivery to me of a sofa with two left-side sections. Now one section will have to be returned and exchanged for the correct piece, which Inhave been told will take a further month at least

In my first order, one item was delivered incomplete, and the delivery took much longer than expected. Unfortunately, the delivery service did not seem very professional. I also tried contacting the company several times by phone, but I was unable to reach anyone.
There are many items on your website that I really like; however, due to this experience with the delivery service, I will unfortunately choose to shop elsewhere in the future.
I hope the service can improve for future customers.

Ordered four outdoor chairs on the 19th April. Numerous attempts to query why I still haven’t had any notification they have even been dispatched (and then apparently have to wait a further 12 working days for a delivery estimate). Website just diverts to a chatbot which is of no use and just offers an apology with zero explanation or expected date. Absolutely dire customer service - would avoid this company at all costs unless you’ve got cash to waste whilst you hope you actually get the products you’ve ordered!

One of the worst consumer experiences I've had in a while. Made a large order with Sklum, original delivery estimated to be 6 weeks, was contacted after 6 weeks to let me know it would be delayed. It finally arrived 4 weeks late (no problem), however the majority of the items were badly damaged. The boxes were clearly damaged on arrival (literal holes in them, several have clearly been compressed/smashed. Open them up and yep, most of the items are broken with dents in the tables, rips in fabrics, etc.
I submitted a thorough incident report on their website
with photos (and am asked for even more photos wasting another day), and then am told I need to get the items back to Sklum in original packaging (funny as in the photos they can clearly see the packaging has been destroyed which is their issue). There was no ETA on when they would be picked up or even if I would receive a refund and when (!). The boxes are huge and I live in a small place so are taking up half my living room. Customer service haven’t acknowledge that this is their problem that they've created and I still don't have a resolution.
Very rough experience in every way.
Edit: they have now given me a date for the pickup at least so that’s progress 👍.

My 2nd experience with Sklum is a big let down. I wanted more of the same furniture so as to match.
It has now been 12 working days since payment was confirmed, (16days total) and I have not heard anything regarding my order! No up-date, no confirmation the the item has been shipped, no tracking number given...
So Im guessing the item still hasn't even left the warehouse. Even if it leaves the warehouse now it will probably take weeks and weeks to arrive.
Its garden furniture, so i'm wondering if it will arrive this summer at all.
I paid €99,95 shipping for an order of €435,90, thats way too much for the length of time this is taking. It would have arrived sooner from the far east.
They are really difficult to get hold of!
Zero customer service! No email address to contact, and its really difficult to get them on the phone.
I'm regretting this now and will unlikely order from them again. Such a shame I had high hopes for them, but they really need to sort their logistics out! Its not worth the bother.
