The custom PS5 covers were done exactly…
The custom PS5 covers were done exactly as I asked for, the quality of the work is excellent comparable to an OEM product.
The send in service was actually much quicker than estimated (about 2 weeks) so overall I’m really glad I decided to get the covers customised by Skin Pixel as I don’t not want to have to use 3rd party covers to get the 30th anniversary look.

I ordered the black Joy-Con 2
I ordered the black Joy-Con 2. The first thing that I immediately noticed is that the right accent ring had several dents and gashes on it from the paint while the left one was clean and didn't have any defects. "Meticulously hand-painted", that's for sure. The second thing is that whoever put the controller back together wasn't careful at all as the back of shell makes a sound whenever you put enough pressure. It turns out that this happens if the clip on the back shell is broken when trying to put the shell back into place. I'm guessing this is one of the "slight variations" that's supposed to make it feel unique? Also, I don't see the reason why you'd put the black Joy-con straps if you're not even going to bother painting them black to match the controller. All in all, I'm never going to order from here ever again. I learned my lesson.

What you’ve described regarding the accent ring damage and the back shell clip issue is not the standard I aim for, and I’ll hold my hands up here: if a controller has left my workshop in that condition, then that’s on me. My work is hand-painted, but that should never mean dents, gashes, or assembly faults — those aren’t “variations,” they’re problems that should have been caught before dispatch.
The issue you mentioned with the back shell noise may indeed sound like a damaged clip, and that’s something I would absolutely want the chance to inspect and resolve.
The Joy-Con straps point is also fair — consistency matters, and I appreciate you calling that out.
I know you’ve said you won’t be ordering again, but I’d still really like the opportunity to make this right for you. If you’re willing, please reach out to me directly via email or the website so we can discuss a repair, replacement, or another suitable resolution. Even when feedback is hard to hear, it’s important, and it helps me improve.

Professional, knowledgeable, and a great end result
Highly recommend Carl at Skin Pixel. I ordered TMR stick upgrades for both my battle beaver dualshock 4 and dualsense edge modules at the end of December and, despite some New Year Royal Mail delays, Carl turned the work around quickly once my controllers arrived; completed by 09/01 and back with me on 12/01.
Before ordering, Carl was super helpful and quick to reply to my questions, which gave me complete confidence to go ahead. I’d also watched his YouTube videos beforehand, which clearly show the knowledge, care, and passion he puts into his work. The TMR thumbsticks were properly installed and fully calibrated, communication was great throughout, and the finished result is spot on. Brilliant service from a small business that genuinely cares about quality.

The guys were super friendly and quick at turning my support request around. Also didn’t try to charge me for things that I didn’t need. My thumb sticks only needed a clean so was only charged the shipping. Many other companies would have tried to make money from that.

Sent two dual sense edge stick modules to be converted in to TMR sticks. I’m so happy. Work was done so quickly. I was made aware of every step of the process.
I had the most minor issue with my order and the questions I asked were responded to by email fifteen minutes after I had sent them.
I came here to find legit reviews for skinpixel so I feel obliged to leave my own. Easy 5stars.

Sent my Dualsense edge in for a repair…
Sent my Dualsense edge in for a repair and for some parts to be replaced. Repair was completed within 5 days and was shipped back with very protective packaging.
The quality of the repair is fantastic and this company is by far cheaper than most others, highly recommend.
