I really wish I had checked out reviews before I signed up with Skimlinks. It started out okay as an affiliate partnership. It turned out to be one of the most annoying things I have dealt with.
The main problem is that Skimlinks does not tell you what is going on. They do not say when you will get paid and the dashboard is not updated. When something goes wrong the people who are supposed to help you just do not respond. I sent them lots of messages over a months and they either did not answer or gave me answers that did not make sense.
What I think is really bad is how Skimlinks handles problems. They do not tell you when there is an issue. They just make you wait for a time. Then they close your account because they say you did something wrong. They do not give you any warning or explanation. You just cannot use your account anymore until you contact them.
A good network would tell you if there is a problem and give you a chance to fix it. Skimlinks does the opposite. They do not say anything. Let you keep earning money. Then they use some rule to say they do not have to pay you. That is not how a good business should work.
If you make content or are an affiliate publisher and you need a network that you can trust you should look else. There are lots of platforms that treat their publishers well and pay them on time. Skimlinks is just not worth it.
I was working with Skimlinks as a publisher. I got my last payment from them in May 2025. After that I did not get any payments. When I asked them about it after three months they said the merchants had not sent them the money yet. They told me that I would get paid once they got the money from the merchants. I believed them. I waited.
Every time I asked them about my payments they gave me the answer. They said they were waiting for the merchants to send the money. My account was still working fine. I could log in. Everything looked normal. I asked them again at the start of 2026. They did not respond to me.
Then in March 2026 I could not log in to my account anymore. When I contacted Skimlinks they said I had broken their rules.. I had not done anything with my Skimlinks account since May 2025. They never told me that I had broken any rules when I was asking them about my payments.
If I had really broken the rules they should have told me away. They should not have waited for a year and then used that as a reason to not pay me. I could have made plans if they had told me.. They kept telling me to wait and then they banned my account without paying me what they owed me.
I think Skimlinks did a bad job. People who publish with them need to get paid on time. They need to know what is going on with their money. Skimlinks failed to do both of these things. I would warn any publisher to be careful before they start working with Skimlinks and letting them handle their money. Skimlinks is not a choice if you want to get paid fairly and, on time.
About a year ago they introduced 2fa. Every account has to have this. Fair enough. But there are no backup codes, there is no way for you to generate a 2fa code yourself - you are entirely dependent on a email they send with the 2fa code. There is no other option. I have been locked out of my account for 7 hours now. Instead of in minutes, the email arrives in hours. And by the time it arrives - you can't use it. I have been talking to their tech team for months now - they refuse to acknowledge there is a problem. If the 2fa code does arrive in minutes - I feel like I have won a lottery. It is baffling that they just dont allow everyone to generate their 2fa code when logging in. Mind boggling.
Via the AdCell platform, Skimlinks claimed a commission for an order in our online shop with a four-figure value. The order was placed on invoice, but the invoice was never paid. Despite this, the full commission was requested.
I’ve used several networks, and Skimlinks wins for ease of use. I love not needing to negotiate or apply to individual merchants. Everything’s just done - highly recommend
I’ve used several affiliate networks and none are as streamlined as skimlinks. The chrome extension is a game-changer for checking brand commissions on the fly. Payment has always been timely and their support team has been stellar whenever I had a question
Skimlinks is one of the few networks that has a questionable commission structure. They seem to believe that publishers can only earn through pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. If a publisher has significant earnings, they may reduce or eliminate commissions altogether, effectively seizing the publisher's entire network.
One of the surprising aspects is their practice of allowing publishers to operate for a period before abruptly cutting off commissions, presumably when they deem earnings to be sufficient. This raises concerns about their ethical standards, particularly regarding the forfeiture of entire networks.
As a former partner of two years, I experienced firsthand the negative impact of their policies when they withheld commissions for four months before ultimately closing our network.
They are terrible. They will not allow a new site trying to start a new business in their program and they really suck! Don't bother with this company. I would not recommend them for your business. Worst company I have seen!!! Hope they go out of business.
I just wish Skimlinks was more transparent and communicative (meaning not a bot or copywriting, but a real person) about why they don't accept websites into their network. I tried for a whole year to join Skimlink's affiliate network, and I got the same generic decline email every time. How can I improve and join the network when I don't know the issue? All the responses on this review site are basically generic corporate answers as well. Very disappointed and at this point, I will look elsewhere.
Skimlinks please do better!
I am owed over €3,000 by Skimlinks and have not been paid. I am repeatedly reaching out to their support for help and specific information. Despite my requests I always receive generic and totally unhelpful information.
This is devastating for me, I work incredibly hard for these commissions and Skimlinks are not interested at all.
I cannot believe how dreadful their support is and how disinterested they are in making sure that their publishers are being paid.
I am slowly joining the affiliate programmes of my biggest merchants directly but this is very time consuming and slow.
I would not recommend anybody joins Skimlinks, as, although you think you are earning commissions, they don't pay you and they don't give you any explanation for why.

Being an active publisher in Skimlinks.com program, I’m highly disappointed in the service they provide as I haven’t receive any payments since Dec 2023. I was informed about an investigation going on for my account with no information on why it was initiated or when it will complete. With no further updates from Skimlinks, lack of transparency, my experience, and other online reviews, the support system at the program is highly questionable.

I am incredibly disappointed with Skimlinks, and I feel compelled to share my experience.
For months, I have been attempting to gain access to Skimlinks with no success. Despite producing daily content, my access has consistently been declined. The reasons provided are vague, and the lack of transparency is frustrating.
To make matters worse, the customer service at Skimlinks has been appalling. They offer no assistance in understanding why my site is deemed unsuitable, even when similar sites are granted access.
The refusal to provide access and the disrespectful customer service have left me frustrated and disheartened. Skimlinks, in its current state, is not a platform I would recommend to others.

Skimlinks is one of the biggest scammer affiliate network i have ever seen in my life. they shut down your account and never paid your commission. I have promote Walmart with my 22,000 active email list in November and after few days when i checked my email they suspend my account by giving fake excuses that i promote Walmart through brand bidding..! even i don't know how to run ads

Beware that they have agreements with coupon code sites and they don't mention in their impact.com description.

Overall everything Skimlinks does is very good. The only issue i have is that the process for getting resolutions to issues that we put in a request about take too long to get responses to.

I am not a Skimlinks client but I received a phishing email that redirects to a Skimlinks merchant. I can't post the link here, but contact me if you want it.
The problem is that I can't find a way to report phishing content to Skimlinks. That should be a minimum requirement for any web presence and is certainly consistent with your published privacy policy.

Skimlinks has been a game-changer for my online business. It effortlessly turns regular links into potential revenue streams through affiliate marketing. The platform's user-friendly interface and extensive network of merchants have significantly boosted my earnings. It's a must-have for anyone in the industry.

Really poor customer support, they just fob you off with articles, don't answer any questions you ask. Really poor experience.

Skimlinks is one of the best platforms for affiliate marketing. It is incredibly easy to use, and you are able to find many wonderful brands to add to your site. I always recommend it to other bloggers!

Skimlinks is my favorite affiliate network platform. From a publisher's perspective, they make it super easy to monetize content. I don't have to join dozens or hundreds of individual brand affiliate programs, but can just use Skimlinks' line of code on my site and hundreds of links across articles turn into affiliate links. It really could not be easier. (I don't know of any other program that does this.) And Skimlinks' analytics and reporting features are top notch. I'm part of over 10 different affiliate networks and Skimlinks is far and away the most user friendly and useful! I always recommend Skimlinks to anyone with a blog that's interested in monetizing with affiliate marketing.
