I bought a Shoggie SH3 guitar from Skervesen - a headless guitar, that was in stock. It’s my first guitar from a custom guitar builder. Since I’m far away of being a professional musician, I wondered whether it was worth to invest in such an instrument, but now, that I play it, I can say: Yet, it absolutely is! It’s a very beautiful guitar, impeccably built, with a wonderful neck (best I’ve ever played), it’s very light (good for my back!), the balance is perfect. The contact with Skervesen was very friendly and responsive. It took a bit more than a week from the first contact to the delivery. I’m very happy, and if you’re looking for a »lifetime« guitar, I highly recommend to check out Skervesen.

I just received my third Skervesen and I’m already thinking about a 4th one in the future! The amount of attention to detail, quality and overall perfect feel of their guitars really shows in each instrument. They were my first experience with a boutique builder and have always been my favorite, I really can’t praise them enough! You’re getting a guitar FOR LIFE with these guys 🤘🏻

From the start of my process with Skervesen, Jarek was available to provide input on specs, and patient with questions I had about the brand's tendencies in playability and sound. The build took even less time than advertised and the Raptor 7 plays like a dream!

This is my second guitar from Skervesen, and they have been awesome from the moment I first contact them about building it until the moment I get the instrument.

The build quality is impeccable, great attention to detail and they acomodated every request I had both times. I will never buy any other boutique brands except for Skervesen Guitars :)

Received my guitar, a custom idea I had, spinned off a famous manufacturer model. I waited 1 year and 2 months for the build.

This guitar is absolutely beautiful. It looks so pristine and clean. It's superb. The neck is the easiest and smoothest I ever played, had no idea that a neck can be that great. Oh my goodness.

The smoothness of the bends playable on this neck cannot be described in words. I mean intuitively I knew that a custom build would be pretty nice, but had really no idea how great it would end up being.

Jarek and his team delivered in every way they possibly could have and even further! I was only able to communicate with Jarek once a day as I live on the other side of the world, but he was always open to discussion and gave me all of the information I requested.

And, oh my god, the guitar. I genuinely giggled like a child for about 20 minutes when I opened the case and started playing it. I still do. I had expectations and Jarek and the Skervesen team smashed them! This guitar has been a dream of mine to own for about 10 years now and it's somehow better than everything I imagined for those 10 years. I would absolutely order another guitar from Skervesen in a heartbeat and would tell anyone thinking about buying one to do it IMMEDIATELY!

I’m extremely happy with this guitar. The craftsmanship is outstanding — every detail is executed perfectly, from the finish to the overall build quality. It looks absolutely stunning in person.

The playability is excellent, very comfortable and well-balanced, and the tone is exactly what I was hoping for: clear, powerful, and inspiring. You can really feel the care and experience that went into building it.

The communication throughout the process was also very professional and friendly. Even though custom builds take time, it was absolutely worth the wait.

Purchased a Raptor Multiscale. I own an Aristides H/08 and a ESP E-II Eclipse, and this Skervesen may be the best playing of the bunch. It's incredibly well made, intonation is perfect, and the lundgren pickups are beast mode for passive. My only con is that I don't have $ for a 7 string! Incredible guitar, I honestly can't wait to get my hands on another one!

At the beginning, I was a bit scared to buy a guitar abroad... Then the making of the guitar took time (more than one year), but Skervesen announced it.
Then I saw first picture of the wood body, the neck ... And at the end, the guitar arrived !!
It's very high quality guitar, all the specs were followed by Skervesen. I have since 10 month now and the sound is insane, the guitar quality is awesome.
I would recommend it if you have a crush on one of their guitar. (Sorry this will increase the wait time to get a guitar 🤣)

Investing in a hi-end custom instrument can be intimidating for an amateur musician. I asked myself numerous times if it's worth to spend that kind of money just on a passion - I don't make a living out of music, and I'll never be able to use the guitar to its full potential, that's the fact.
The point is, that doesn't matter.
What matters is that the immaculate build quality, the ergonomics, comfort of playing, tuning stability, great intonation, smart little construction details, low string action etc., DO help to achieve better end results. They add a few extra % that make you play easier, faster, cleaner and more relaxed, no matter how advanced you are.
I admit I had super high expectations but the work of art I received (Chimera in my case) simply blew me away. It was frankly shocking how much attack and aggression a guitar can have, and this particular instrument has vintage, lower-output pickups (!).
It's a joy to play, it fuels my creativity, it's very versatile with broad palette of sounds thanks to the brilliant WDM, and it looks stunning.
The whole consultation process went smoothly. Guys in Skervesen are obviously very experienced and can help and suggest solutions for a client who doesn't know exactly how each tonewood combination and pickup model will affect the sound. The team is very responsive and it's enough to send them a quick email to receive updates and photos from the assembly line. Plus, there is an option of monthly payment so it's not that big of a shock for a home budget.

I'm on my 4th Skervesen and couldn't be happier. Fit and finish are stellar, the woods used stunning and most importantly they are great instruments. Jarek is a pleasure to deal with, communication is speedy and, really important, he'll tell you when an idea might not be a great one (for instance when pickups might not be a great match for the rest of the specs).

Ultimately, ordering something custom is a gamble, you're buying something sight unseen and with a guitar you are taking a risk. But they have yet to disappoint me even once. They connect to my musical soul to the point the only guitars I own that aren't Skervs are a CS Fender Strat & Tele.

I'm absolutely convinced I'll get another and I can't recommend them enough.

I ordered first guitar from Skervesen in 2025 (Raptor 7). Ordering was easy (through email) and after agreeing on spec's I got draft to confirm once more for the setup. After this deal was signed with 40% deposit, and rest of the guitar i was paid in parts (they were really flexible with payment options).

Production on the instrument was 100% in time, according to promised. They sent me updates when guitar was ready for assembling, when it was painted (also to confirm, if I was satisfied with the outcome of the color/quality).

Delivery was bit slow (after instrument was completed, there was few weeks delay but still nothing catastrophic).

For build quality, detail on finish and overall construction of the instrument I have been extremely satisfied. Fretwork is excellent, paintwork is beautiful (despite the fact that I took "cheapest" option for it), everything works and the guitar itself has been pure joy to play.

Overall was nice doing business with them, and only minor "issue" I had, was with couple of messages that were bit difficult to understand what message said (understandable, since neither of the sides were native English speakers).

For The instrument absolute 5/5 and for the service I'd say 4.9/5.

While Skervesen is known for extremely beautiful and visually stunning guitars, I have to point out/thank them for their flexibility for the fact that i asked them to strip down everything possible from the decorative/visual side to push the price down that I could afford the order in the first place, while they still kept to quality of construction, materials and finish of the instrument on supreme level.

I’ve been a fan of Skervesen guitars since 2011, when a fellow classmate owned one. It was the most beautiful guitar I’d ever seen at the time. Since then, I’ve dreamed of owning one of my own. I finally ordered one, and received an email today saying it’s ready to be shipped! The customer service has been great and I’m so excited to finally play it!

Received my first Skervesen Raptop 3 weeks ago and out of the gate it had no flaws. Setup was great, stunning finish, playability was top notch. Very resonant too for an electric. Extremely well built and feels like quality. The different voicing options and WDMod also give distinct sounds, that can be used in a variety of ways. Having fun experimenting with those.

The order process and updates along the way was handled very well. With any questions being answered usually in a day or two at most.

In my case can't really think of anything that could be improved upon.

I've had two custom guitars built by Skervesen. I've had a lot of guitars that are near flawless but only the Skervesens were actually flawless. Ordering process was great, you get a lot of updates with pictures along the way.

I have 2 guitars from Skervesen and a 3rd currently being built. They are HANDS DOWN my favorite builder and the quality is immaculate! Even 6-7 years after my first one it still plays like brand new, the necks feel amazing and they are truly beautiful to look at! I have 100% trust and confidence in them!

From the incredibly ergonomic design, the spectacular sound, the quality of the craftmanship, and an almost pathologic atention to detail, my Skervesen Shoggie guitar is a work of passionate, intelligent, and inspiring art no word of mine could ever do it justice. Every wood grain carefuly chosen and cut to match the designs lines and also the placement of the 1st class hardware components...the weight distribution, the BALANCE of the guitar, no matter if you sit or stand. I've been touring and working with this guitar for almost 7 years now, flying all over the world; played it in Patagonia, the Atacama desert, all over Europe...it never needed a new setup after a flight. I absolutely ADORE this guitar, as an artist, professional guitar player and a lover of beautiful things.
