Spare parts and service post buying

I needed a spare bracket for a String shelf I bought over a year ago.
Luke responded quickly and efficiently to find the part and send it to me at no charge.

WORST online shopping experience ever

WORST online shopping experience ever! Does this company even exist??? I've been calling them for days. I also left voice messages (no calls back) and even end up going to the shop in East London to find out that they are closed despite opening hours saying the opposite. I wanted to have more details about how to spend a £200 gift card and in case ask for a refund if I return any items. Not to mention that many items online are out of stock.

I am stuck with buying something I don't like, paying additional money on top of the gift card, without the guarantee to have any money back in case I don't like what I am buying (which is likely). Very unprofessional. Almost a scam!

Beautiful furniture

Beautiful furniture and the delivery guy was amazing (so thoughtful and careful!). There were one or two hiccups in the order process but the team were helpful and always responsive to emails.

Poor business processes

I ordered an item in March (so 3 months ago). Order confirmation received. Nothing else - no shipping, no refund. Contacted customer service - no replies. Regret that I ever ordered something and paid money.

Upd: the business reached out to me rectifying their mistake and issuing a full refund for the item, also promising to deliver the item regardless - in July. Glad that they are reactive on the feedback given.

33 weeks! Unbelievable!

Delivery of basic shelf components 33 weeks late after hopeless communication failures and zero awareness of the issue. Good luck buying your String parts here.

Delivery delayed

Delivery timeline was almost twice as long as expected, with no proactive customer service communication. Premium products and pricing but definitely not a premium service! Post review feedback from Skandium was impressive and showed a business that cares. Thank you.

Customer service is a joke

On 7 May I order 2 sets of wine glasses. When they arrived 1 glass had a very visible flaw so I contacted customer service to ask for it to be replaced. It took them several days to respond and I had to chase them to get the process going. I was going away, so I arranged for them to be collected the following week but the courier never showed up! Collection was reorganised and finally they were collected but that was only to collect the faulty product. I was told by Luke that they would be arriving today so I again waited in again, only to receive an email from the courier at 4pm that it would be delivered tomorrow! I have spent 2 days waiting in for this already. Clearly standards have dropped considerably and they do not respect their customers. I would suggest you shop elsewhere and save yourself a lot of hassle. I know I will be and imagine by the shocking amount of bad reviews, that their other disappointed customers will be too.

Zero communication, wrong delivery, extraordinary wait times

When purchasing, was told it would be around a 6-8 week wait. It has now been almost 12 weeks and I still haven’t received my order.

The delivery arrived with the wrong shelves. 0 communication from the customers care team regarding the delays. I had to chase them up every single time.
Now the delivery is going to be conducted by DPD (with no fixed delivery date) because it does not fit with the skandium delivery schedule…
