St John Ambulance Cymru Reviews 

It has been a long time since I have been to St John Ambulance Cymru, however, I attended for a Fire Marshall course, unfortunately they was no parking available and no clear indication of overflow carpark, I had to drive around trying to find a place to park, which was very frustrating, eventually, I managed to speak to a staff member out on break by the side of the building (nice chap), he directed me to the overfill carpark. Walking back to the building I managed to see the same staff member who was so helpful and thanked him. Entering the building, unfortunately I found the receptionist, un-welcoming and felt a bit of an inconvenience, for me not a very pleasant experience. The trainer on our course was wonderful and very knowledgeable and engaging.

I recently completed a First Aid Training Course with St John Ambulance Cymru, and I had a great experience! The training was informative, practical, and easy to understand. The instructor was knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable while learning important lifesaving skills. I now feel much more confident about how to respond in an emergency. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to learn essential first aid skills. Thank you, St John Ambulance Cymru, for such an excellent training experience!

With there just being 3 of us on the course that was a great advantage, I’m a little hard of hearing sometimes & it was never a problem, the trainer was clear & very approachable, we could ask questions easily & everything was clearly explained

The trainer was very personal and easy to engage with.
I never felt nervous or put on the spot.
The format was delivered in a precise manner with plenty of hands on experiences too.

Great course, great trainer, did find some parts repetitive, and could potentially a little shorter to keep people engaged and focused. As noticed towards the end people was loosing attention.

Really informative and engaging 3 day First Aid at Work course. Gary, the trainer, was personable, always happy to share anecdotes and answer questions. I thought using a quiz app at the end of each day was a great way to test our knowledge because there is a lot of information to take in within a short amount of time. The facilities were also great and easy to find your way around. Staff were friendly too.

Really enjoyed the course and the learning and the way Donna N managed the training which was very inclusive and informative and I learnt a lot.

Enjoyed the course and the experience of learning everything in practical form makes it so much more fun. Dean is brilliant at what he does. Highly recommend this course, if there’s a chance you could save someone’s life then me personally I’d want to know what to do in the situation, this course give you all the fundamentals to cope in any situation.

All round excellent training experience. Quality of information and the way it was delivered, combined with Tayna's enthusiasm made it enjoyable rather than nerve-wracking. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant three day course, all staff were welcoming and our trainer Tanya was friendly & professional.
The training was straightforward and easy to follow with everything explained and shown plus practice practicals so you never felt out of your depth.
