Good staff and fast service to get the car.

I had a seamless and almost perfect rental from Sixt at Malpensa. Congratulations
to them for a real premium experience.
1. Picking up took just a few minutes with the rental agent. No upsell of insurance.
2. Very nice upgrade as a diamond member
3. Car return also only took a few minutes and no problems with damages.

Had a similar excellent experience with Sixt in Lisbon a few months ago.
So after problems with
then in germany 2 years ago claiming for almost invisble damages which obviously were on the car before, I plan to rent form them in other european countries (except germany)

The employees were helpful, the car was nice, and overall great experience

i was charge additional euro100 at the end of rental period. The customer service said is because i returned the car late at night but it was not true. I returned early in the morning at Milan airport as my flight is in the morning. They can refund me but not full amount and they said is due to system cannot refund fully. This is absurd. I want my money back!!!

Yesterday I supposed to pick up a car at Sixt Fumicio airport for BMW X5. But the employee there made the payment process complicated which i ended up not taking a car there.

The next day I made another reservation at Sixt near Vatican City. Martha helped me with the process smoothly and smiling all the time.
I ended up taking a BMW here for my trip.

I forgot his name — I think it was Andrea — but you have his ID from the booking. I want to thank him for everything he did and for preventing us from having to sleep at the airport, always finding solutions for us. I’ve been renting with SIXT for more than 10 years now, and I’m currently a Diamond member of their loyalty program. I rent about 20–25 times per year, mostly from this branch, including my most recent rental which ended yesterday.

I don’t usually leave a review after every rental, but after reading some of the latest comments, I felt it was important to share my experience in support of the company—especially the outstanding team coordinated by Fabrizio: Giulia, Sarah, Anastasiia, Mattia, Dharmakeerthi, Andrea, Elisabetta and allthe people that have worked in this branch.

The service they provide is consistently very good. They always do their best to accommodate clients’ needs, even when unexpected situations occur—such as last-minute car shortages or mechanical issues—which are often outside of their control. People who rent only occasionally may not have enough experience to properly evaluate the quality of service, but as someone who rents frequently, I can say that “bad luck” can happen with any rental company. What makes the difference is how the staff manages it, and this team handles everything with professionalism and care.

I highly recommend SIXT as a company, and especially all the Milan branches—including CityLife!

Flavia and Diana were both exceptional very professional, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process.

They carefully listened to our situation, explained everything clearly, and helped us choose a car that suited our itinerary and luggage needs. Their warm and considerate service made us feel well supported and confident before starting our trip.

We got our car on the 7th of November at the airport in Naples and we were very well served by Eleuthera who also gave us good tips about our future two weeks in Italy. At the check out Simone was also very attentive and polite with us. Highly recommend it.

As usual I was taken care on all details with my booking. I have been having a very good experience with Sixt in all countries. Here in Verona I almost rent every month..and it is because of the courtesy that I a constant customer.

The pick up was very quick. We finished within 5 mins. Sixt in other countries take my passport again and driving license but the one in Italy had everything in the system.

Gaberiele was awesome. He did a great job of explaining the options and the pricing.

We had a very unpleasant and misleading experience with this company. We had already paid online in advance for the rental and the basic insurance (covering bodywork and scratches). When picking up the car, the staff asked if we wanted to add an additional insurance (windows, etc.), insisting it was a “special offer just for us”. We refused.

Despite this, after returning the car we were charged for the extra insurance we explicitly declined. There is, of course, no way to recover the money; they have their own opaque processes that make it impossible to contest the charge.

Our advice is simple: choose any other rental company, but not Sixt
