We paid £450 for a booking. We got an earlier flight and wanted to collect a 3 day booking 8 hours earlier. The cheapest price they could offer us to get the car was £1259. So we lost the car, as we didn’t want to waste a day of holiday and lost the £450. Scammers.

I had a great overall experience with this car rental company. The front desk staff was professional, courteous, and took the time to answer all my questions clearly. The car itself was exceptionally clean and felt practically brand new. Throughout my entire trip, I didn’t encounter any issues with the vehicle, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. Excellent, easy to pick up and return the car

The reception was exceptionally friendly when we collected the vehicle. We were grateful for the upgrade from a Honday Civic to a BYD hybrid. The car was extremely comfortable. We traveled over 500 kilometers and consumed only 40 liters of petrol. It was highly efficient.

Very concerning experience. The rental was quoted at approximately 670 CHF but increased to close to 1000 CHF after additional products were added without clear or meaningful explanation at the counter. The agreement was presented only in Swiss francs and processed very quickly, with limited English spoken, making it difficult to properly review or give fully informed consent to the additional charges.

I will be formally reviewing these charges and pursuing this through the appropriate consumer and financial dispute channels if necessary. I would strongly recommend that the company improves transparency around optional extras, particularly for international customers. Based on this experience, I would not choose this provider again.

Excellent experience at Sixt Zurich Airport

I had a great overall experience with Sixt at Zurich Airport. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I would especially like to highlight Eliza at the reception — she was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful, making the start of the rental effortless and very pleasant.

The vehicle return was just as seamless and perfectly organized, with a quick and hassle-free handover at the end of the rental. Everything was handled clearly and efficiently, which I really appreciated.

Overall, a very positive experience from start to finish. Great service, great staff, and a well-run operation. I would definitely recommend Sixt Zurich Airport and would happily rent again.

On the past December I rented a car for 3 days in Switzerland.
Got a ticket and an email where explicitly says that the administrative cost included the ticket (annex).
After they say it did not...
In the end, I paid the ticket and the pornographic administrative cost of 45 swiss francs just for sending me an email with the ticket.

After 2 weeks, I received another case identical... same rollercoaster of bad service...

The help at the counter was very friendly.
