I've Enjoyed My Hair from singledonorhair.com

I purchased hair from Single Donor Hair for keratin fusion extensions and this has been the best hair I’ve ever used for a fusion install.

I’ve had this hair in for about 8 months now, with normal touch-ups in between to move the bonds back up to the root. The hair itself has held up extremely well. It has never tangled, barely needs product, and truly acts like my own natural hair. This ended up being the best install I’ve ever had.

In the past, when I used Great Lengths hair, I always had to fully remove my extensions after about 2–3 months. The hair would start tangling, lose its shine, and get ratting and matting at the nape no matter how careful I was. I also dealt with the hair bending and kinking around the bonds over time, which meant a lot of flat ironing just to keep it looking normal. By that point, the hair usually needed a lot of serums just to feel smooth.

This hair is the first time that hasn’t happened. The nape has stayed smooth, the hair hasn’t matted, and it hasn’t developed those weird bends. Because of that, instead of removing everything at 3 months, my stylist was able to do another touch-up and reuse the same hair. That saved me a lot of money since touch-ups can cost close to $300 per hour.

This was my first time using hair that was freshly cut from a donor, so I was excited but skeptical at first. The hair came in bulk and wasn’t pre-tipped, and my stylist tipped it with keratin. She was able to customize the bonds by using smaller amounts of hair at the top and thicker bonds in the back, which really improved the overall blend and density.

After using this hair, I don’t think I could go back to chemically processed hair. There’s a noticeable difference with raw hair, especially over time.

Single Donor Hair also provided proof of the woman whose hair I purchased, including photos and video of the cut, along with documentation showing that she sold her hair to help pay for school in another country. I normally don’t care where my hair comes from and usually just buy hair, but it was actually comforting knowing whose hair I was wearing, why she sold it, and that in some small way I was helping her go to school.

She also shared which products she used on her hair (Kérastase), so I bought the same products and continued caring for the hair the same way, which helped a lot with upkeep.

I highly recommend SDH and I’m really glad I found this company. It’s now my go-to for fusion extensions. My goal is to make this hair last three years or more with proper care, and so far I’m very happy with it.
