We have been scammed

We have been scammed. Paid 5 months ago for a villa to rent in Casa de campo and 2 days prior our arrival a guy from the company told us once he had all the money in his bank that we had lost the villa and besides he kept the advance payment of the reservation , 14,700 US dollars!!
We have hired already a law firm to procced with the law suit . If it’s legal I will post it online as soon as I have it. Please be aware of this company and specially the guy that seems to be the head of this scam , Sam.
