Igor and his dad Sancho came and did an impeccable job on my solid wood flooring and definitely considers the client first whilst executing a very high quality job.

I originally booked to have my flooring lifted to do a full job on it and to understand the state of the floorboards underneath but upon finding that my flooring was nailed down (incorrectly), Igor brought to my attention the situation and the options available, making me aware that due to the state of the flooring, there is an increased risk of damage to each piece and it will be difficult to replace.
Given the situation, i decided that we needed to pivot the job and not lift the flooring, going for a sanding, and varnishing job instead.
This is a prime example of being customer centric.

Not only that, but i had a 1 day notice of a large shipment delivery about to take place. Upon informing Igor of the situation, Igor and his father went the extra mile to get the job done without compromising on quality before the shipment came, going above and beyond.

I think Igor and his dad did a wonderful job and i wish them all the best and success for their future!

A father an son team, do exactly what they say they will which is so rare unfortunately these days with contractors. I had been struggling for 2 years to find carpenters to fix a flooring issue. Igor turned up to quote on time, sent the quote promptly. Arranged a date and again turned up 10 mins early, polity, clean and got the job done. I cannot recommend them enough.

I had some large unsightly stains on my beautiful green marble. I had a couple of different marble people come out to assess the damage only to be told by both that there was no way of removing the stains and that the entire marble would have to be replaced costing a small fortune!
Simple Maintenance Solutions are a small father and son company who were really wonderful to deal with from start to finish and came out very quickly. They were able to remove the stain completely and restore the marble to it's beautiful original state.
Needless to say I would highly recommend them.

My floors were regrouted with resin and then highly polished. They look better than ever before and using the resin does not block the dirt in as it’s been levelled to the height of the marble.
Igor and dad were very clean and tidy and took pride in doing a highly professional job without any problem at all. Everything was not too much and they are very nice kind people.

I needed an original Victorian stairway sanded at short notice and Simple Maintenance Solutions did a fantastic job. They were on site 2 days after my initial call and the job was completed to a high standard within another 2 days. They were careful to highlight any potential issues that I may not have been aware of (eg areas that must be hand sanded and therefore may produce a slightly different finish). I felt well informed and was very pleased with the final product. I'd thoroughly recommend Simple Maintenance Solutions.

A family-run business with integrity, reliability and attention to detail. I highly recommend these guys! We had our parquet floor renovated and Simple Maintenance Solutions Ltd spent a lot of time preparing, planning and sourcing the right sized and colour reclaimed blocks. They took up existing concrete areas, refilled and rematched the newly reclaimed blocks. Sanded, filled, and varnished to a high standard. You would never notice there was ever a chimney breast or wall partition the new blocks were weaved so seamlessly. Thank you so much.

What a fantastic job done on our very loose timber herringbone floor!!! Igor and Sanchas lifted the loose pieces and like a jumper more unravelled. They took this in there stride and worked their away across the floor. Keeping us well informed they took so much care getting it level, filled and then stained it to blend in with the other part of the floor.

We really lucked out with Simple Maintenance Solutions. As their company name states, they make everything seem simple. Sancho, the owner, was brilliant. He came round to view our stairs that needed sanding after a botched job from a Mr Sander related company and instantly got to work returning them to the standard we originally expected. Sancho throughout was great, providing education about the process, what he was doing and if we were okay with everything he was doing. A true professional. We are keen to work with Simple Maintenance again and would recommend them to everyone and anyone.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Igor and his father, Sancho, from Simplems, and I simply can't recommend them highly enough. They are genuinely experienced professionals when it comes to wood floor installation. Our project involved not only the wood flooring itself but also the added complexity of an acoustic underlay, Hushmat 12, followed by varnishing to ensure its longevity.
Watching them work together as a father-and-son duo was incredibly impressive. Sancho is a true master of his craft; his precision in manually placing each wood piece, without relying on tools, showed an incredible level of dedication – he truly installed the floor as if it were for his own home. Igor's attention to detail was equally significant, as he made crucial improvements to ensure the Hushmats were placed perfectly straight and strong over the initial floating floorboard, ensuring a perfect, long-lasting installation to prevent any future issues. This attention to detail gave me complete peace of mind. I felt so confident and secure throughout the entire process.
Their expertise extends beyond just flooring; Sancho's knowledge of wood is vast. They even beautifully renovated an antique, long elm desk for me, sanding and varnishing it back to its original glory. I genuinely missed them once the work was completed!
