What Happened
On August 11, 2026, I placed an order with SimPilot Store for WINCTRL Orion Metal Flight Rudder Pedals, Standard Edition.
At the time of purchase, the store website showed the pedals as being in stock, with two units available. The website stated that the product would ship within 1–3 business days.
I paid a total of C$519.80 by electronic funds transfer to their email address. The transfer was successfully accepted and deposited by a recipient identified by Interac as “Simpilot Store.”
The payment message included my order reference:
SP-A3F245C958
I also paid approximately C$60 for premium/expedited shipping service.
Problems Encountered
After payment:
* I did not receive a shipment confirmation.
* I did not receive a carrier name or tracking number.
* The merchant’s tracking page continued to show that no record of my order was available.
* I sent multiple emails requesting information about the status of the order.
* I received no response to those inquiries.
* The merchant’s website continued to show the product as having two units in stock even after my purchase.
On August 13, I sent the merchant a final written request asking for an explanation of the status of my order and why no tracking information had been provided.
Payment Confirmation
Interac confirmed that:
“Simpilot Store has accepted your transfer of $519.80. The transfer you sent to Simpilot Store for the amount of $519.80 CAD has been successfully deposited.”
This confirms that the funds were received by the recipient.
Attempts to Resolve the Matter
I attempted to resolve this directly with SimPilot Store by email before making any fraud or consumer-protection complaint.
Despite repeated attempts to contact the business, I did not receive a satisfactory response or shipment information.
Reason for Reporting
I am reporting this matter as a suspected online purchase fraud / merchandise not received transaction.
I willingly sent the payment because I believed I was purchasing an in-stock product from a Canadian retailer. My concern arises from the combination of:
* Funds being accepted and deposited.
* Merchandise not being delivered as represented.
* No valid tracking information being provided.
* Repeated customer-service inquiries going unanswered.
* The merchant being difficult to independently verify through ordinary business-contact information.
I am asking the receiving organization to investigate the transaction and determine whether fraud or another consumer-protection violation has occurred.
Evidence Available
I can provide:
* Order confirmation showing order SP-A3F245C958.
* Interac/CIBC confirmation of the C$519.80 payment.
* Confirmation that Simpilot Store accepted and deposited the transfer.
* Screenshots showing the pedals advertised as in stock.
* Screenshots showing the stated 1–3 business-day shipping period.
* Evidence of the additional premium shipping charge.
* Screenshots of the merchant’s tracking page showing no order record.
* Copies of emails sent to the merchant.
* Evidence showing that the merchant did not respond to repeated inquiries.
