Simon is the complete Guru when it comes to planning / leading UK and European tours. The books / on line maps are easy to navigateand if you are lucky enough to be part of his led tours your in for a riding treat, excellent paced for miles of smiles, would highly recommend.

Simon is a true encyclopaedia when it comes to the best riding roads

I own all of Simon Weir’s books, and I’ve bought several tour packs from his website. They’re excellent value for money. I’d say Simon does 90% of the planning for you. Each day’s scenic route is worked out, right down to where to stop for a coffee, where to fill up and a suggested hotel for the night. All I have to do is book the hotels, and I’m ready to ride.

I’ve also toured through France and Spain with Simon himself, and what stays with me is his choice of roads. Some stretches are a joy to take slowly so you can enjoy the view. Others have the sort of bends that make you glad you came on a motorcycle. So, if you fancy a spirited ride or you’re there for the scenery, Simon knows where to take you.

I’d recommend his tour packs to anyone planning a motorcycle trip, and I’d happily ride with him again. Five stars from me.

Just completed my first road trip curated by Simon. I had 4 weeks and 4000 miles in Spain and Portugal driving on some spectacularly scenic and twisty roads in my Porsche.
From start to finish very professional and everything you need from printed directions and gpx complete with hotels, fuel, lunch and coffee stops.
Can't wait for next year!

Simon created a set of bespoke routes for me in 2025 and again in 2026. Excellent attention to detail and really easy to deal with regarding my specific wishes for some of the days.

A great service, it saves so much time and gets you on the good roads. My friends and I have used Simon's maps for the last 3 years.

Simon created a 21 day tour for us from the UK to Romania and back. We was worried we would spend hours on Autobahns and miss all the good bits because we was unaware of them. Simon came up trumps with a superb compilation of routes that not only included every coffee stop and fuel stop but took us to the door of our hotel each day. 4500 mile trip and it was if he had ridden every mile to plan our trip! Highly recommend and will definitely use again!

I can highly recommend Simon’s motorcycling tours. He’s that good I’ve gone from buying his books and the odd route from the website to purchasing the off the peg tours and even bespoke tours. The latter was to encourage my wife to tour in Spain with me and she’s enjoyed it so much we have subsequently done France. Each time it was a bespoke tour with elements to make us both happy.
Highly recommend and we are deciding where to next year.

I ordered a route from Simon for a custom trip from Bilbao to South Spain. I swear he must have ridden the route the week before I went. The route was spot on and matched the pace and timings I needed for the time I had available. He provided comprehensive GPX files which were easy to load into my Garmin, Tank bag notes, personalised route booklet and marked up fold out maps. Simon was really helpful and flexible in making a short trip away one I will remember for a long time.

I purchased 2 tours from Simon for 2027 for a trip away with the lads.

Simon’s communication was excellent!

The GPX files were delivered instantly and the tour pack is a mine of information.

He reached out pretty much immediately and asked which options we had chosen for the Croatia tour pack so that he could mark up the physical maps with suggested routes.

About a week later I received all of the physical maps for the Black Forest tour we also ordered. Again, fully marked up!

I will absolutely buy more tours packs from Simon for the 2028 season!

Simon Weir is ‘The Rainman’ of roads!! We have used Simon for a lot of years now (he’s just completed our Scotland and Switzerland trips for next year). To say I couldn’t praise him enough is an understatement.

If you’re after a exceptional trip that’s planned within an inch of its life, he’s your man!

I have used Simon for quite a few years to prepare bespoke trips, what he finds and where he sends is quite unbelievable, trust me, I have put together many many trips but when I ride Simon’s I always think how did he ever find this.
