Almost everyone who contacted me was a fake account, easily seen by reverse image search. This includes the so-called "curated suggestions." There may be real people on this, but you'll go crazy trying to find them.

Zero response to my dozens of sent likes. Plus Silver Years does not let you see your sent likes or send message with out a like back. Lastly, I’ve encountered large numbers of scammers. I’ve cancelled my membership.

Silver Singles has the following huge issues:
1) Almost all new profiles from women to men are FAKE, SCAMMING FOR PHONE NUMBERS.
2) The other profiles are not current, do not use system, and never friend you.
3) Getting off the system is a systematic nightmare.

Silver Singles isn't worth it. The biggest problem is that they ignore the distance preference. I delete scores of profiles from intolerable distances. Complaining does nothing. They never answered, "If you ignore my distance, why do you ask me for it?" Match. com and OurTime are better.

MOST OF the parts of the site don’t work. Also the people who have been “curated” for me don’t match my preferences. There was one person with whom I was chatting and the entire chat disappeared.
The same “curated” people show up all the time. I am going to ask for my money back! This site is awful!

I want to start off by saying that this is the first time I have taken the time to write any review online. Most of the comments you will read are true. Fake or dead profiles on SilverSingles. The amount of "hearts" that I've sent with very little responses is disheartening. The main reason for my comments is that my account has now been blocked. To remove the block they want a copy of my drivers license or passport. When I asked why I was blocked they could not give an explanation. I told them that I have not changed anything in my profile (pictures or words). I haven't sent any messages to anyone because of the inactivity of people responding back to my hearts. I told them after I downloaded their app on my Samsung S25 that my account was blocked after a couple of hours. No ability to long in through Google on my phone or laptop like I did before the downloading of the app. I asked the company to delete my account immediately and to stop any recurring charges since I am unable to delete my account on my own. Time will tell if I have to write another comment in the future regarding billing or having a friend see my profile when my account is suppose to be deleted.

Absolute tripe. Total waste of one’s life as the will to live declines with every yawning swipe.
Definitely not worth it at all so don’t waste any money hoping for anything to come of this site.

About 5 years ago I joined SS and had some success meeting people. I always sent and received “likes”.
I re-joined about a year ago and it has been terrible! With their new format, it is impossible to navigate the entire site. You’re stuck on your Discovery page and thats it.
You used to be able to send a message to someone that interested you, now you can only send them a Heart.
In 5 months, I haven’t received ONE “like” to me. I have sent over twenty Hearts and not one responded.
That is very hard to believe. In the past, I had over 50 “likes” and now not even ONE?
This site is a total scam. Stay away!

Stay away from this piece of junk dating site, especially since they changed the format. It was already bad before, but now it has gone from bad to worse! It is almost non-functional. It has so few features, and I don't even think it works. I go months without even one 'like' which is not possibe compared to every other site I've used which is many. It is truly worthless.

This is the most inaccurate and false dating site you could imagine. People's information is totally inaccurate and contains glaring errors. It recently went offline for upgrades and lost a lot of users information. I have tried to use it for over 6 months and most of the profiles are false and full of inaacurate details. There sre no help facilities and no contact email addresses or phone numbers. PLEASE DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!!!!

I joined a week ago, which granted is not long to be on the site. I was under the impression that I would receive new recommendations daily. Every single day they send me the same 5-6 people. Maybe there is not a good dating pool in my area. Plus I would say half of the recommendations are scammers. Here is what I have learned; if it looks too good to be true, it most likely is too good to be true. I'm already ready to quit!

I hearted close to 75 women. I am an attractive, physically fit man and my profile is solid. There was one response from a suspicious woman, otherwise nothing. This was not a good dating site for me.

The customer service was disappointing at first, there is no phone number to talk to a real person. However, once I relented to using the texting system and learned how to use it (took me the second submital as there was not a box that was filled out that was hidden by the phone screen not being large enough) the customer service was fast complete and included recommendations. The problem was resolved quickly with a full explanation of how to prevent the problem from recurring.

the app did not work for me due to my location and the lack of participants to choose from. I did contact silver singles to cancel my registration and ask for a full refund because of this but I never received a response and was ignored.

Site is tedious to get around, and to edit my profile. Most times when returning into site after one day, I’m asked to reset cookie preferences.
Site doesn’t show if someone already liked me when given their profile to review, and doesn’t show a list of those I already liked so I may follow up with a short message.
I won’t be renewing here!

If I could give Silversingles 0 stars I would . Don’t waste your money on the premium subscription. It will do nothing for you . This app / website isn’t much more than a scam . If you want to waste $54 or whatever it is , just roll the money up and smoke it or flush it down the toilet . I am very disappointed in this site . The only thing that is good about this site is . They don’t have the copious amounts of fake profiles from people that are OBVIOUSLY IN ASIA AND OR AFRICA .

After getting my name fixed and profile unblocked the first few days were pretty good--several contacts and some conversations started. But it seems there is no way to send even a brief message to someone you like. You have to wait for a mutual like before any contact.

Many local profile but no enough compatible individuals and the ones that are very compatible are too far away and not willing to meet you halfway !
