Products have become terrible with terrible customer service
I spent a ot of money on a Silky saw which broke after an hour of light use. After a photo was sent to them via the retailer I was told I had used the saw incorrectly so it was my problem - go away. (Not the precise words they used but words to the same effect). I could send the broken saw back at my expense but they're hardly to change their defence to avoid replacing a poor quality product are they?
I have bought Silky saws for around 20 years and have old examples that are still working well. It seems great quality products have become overpriced poor quality products with zero support or backup. That is the last Silky saw I will ever purchase.
