I learnt level 1 BSL with Mohammed who was a brilliant teacher.

I was very nervous around doing the exam all together as I had gone into the course purely out of curiosity and to learn something new so having to do an exam was extremely daunting to me but Mohammed encouraged us all and really helped with my confidence around it. He was extremely kind and patient throughout the whole thing.

Noah who runs Signsay is brilliant at answering as hoc questions and the planning of it all. They have communicated very well and promptly.

The course has been extremely enjoyable and worthwhile and I would definitely recommend SignSay.

The two days' intensive level one sign language course was well-planned and well-delivered.

Noah kept us well informed and updated during the booking process as well as the lead up to, during and after the course.

Mohammed was a very good teacher, he taught at a good pace, and suggested tips to try and remember difficult signs. A few people in our group had prior sign language knowledge, and Mohammed tailored parts of the course for their skill set. We were given lots of time during the course to revise the hard to remember signs, or to ask for help if it was needed.

We would highly recommend this course.

I’ve just completed the BSL Level 1 course with SignSay. I highly recommend using this provider, you will benefit from all the advantages of a smaller business; being well supported and not treated just as a number making up the cohort. The course is excellent value. Mohammed and Noah are both very helpful and answered any questions promptly and comprehensively. The structure of the lessons and the way Mohammed leads them are well planned, engaging, fun and paced just right. There is excellent exam preparation provided too. I’m looking forward to starting Level 2.

Our level 1 sign language course with Mohammed was a wonderful experience. He made learning sign language far less daunting, and always taught with enthusiasm making every lesson fun. He would always give context and reasoning behind everything, bringing the lessons into real-life situations; which was also fantastic!

Signsay - and specifically Mohammad - is fantastic! We did a private group course with 4 of us and I am so happy we decided to do this. The 11 week Level 1 course went by too fast and we're all very sad that it's over already! Every class was engaging and so much fun and we looked forward to class every week. Signsay is a fantastic way to get into BSL. The class sizes are small and Mohammed is a brilliant teacher. You cover so much throughout the lessons and you feel well prepared to take the exams by the end. I would highly recommend learning BSL with Signsay.

Mohammed is an amazing, skilled and experienced teacher. He has a great sense of humour which makes his classes fun and something to look forward to. He built my confidence and was flexible to ensure I was given the support I needed around exams. The class size was very small which is very important meaning we were able to get through a lot of content quickly. Thanks SignSay!

I highly recommend this course. The teacher, Mohammed, is really competent and every lesson is well organised. The environment is very friendly and in a few months I learned enough to have a little conversation.
If you need to learn BSL, or you're just curious about it, I suggest to try one lesson. You won't be disappointed.

Mohammed was an amazing teacher - the small groups made it very personal and much easier to follow. He is very approachable and relaxed, and doesn't get frustrated if you can't remember a sign. He goes above and beyond to accommodate his students - offering catch up lessons and extra sessions if you need them. I very much enjoyed my time with SignSay - they are very efficient and willing to help out however they can.

I can't recommend Signsay enough - they are welcoming, patient, understanding and just the best people to learn from! I was really nervous before starting, but Mohammed is just the BEST teacher. I've learnt so much, with laughs, no pressure and at times flexibility around the lessons when work has taken me away from London.

I'm enjoying learning sign language and should have done it much earlier. Very practical hands on approach. A course where I don't have to write a word, sounds good to me.

Signsay are very flexible and can offer catch up lessons if someone misses a lesson, which is great. The course is well structured and clear, and each lesson builds on the previous one. Our teacher is enthusiastic, informed, encouraging and very clear in his feedback. I feel we've made a lot of progress in a short space of time. I recommend Signsay wholeheartedly.
