I have been buying things from SideDeal…

I have been buying things from SideDeal for a long time now and I have to say, unlike many of the vendors on the internet, they are very attentive and concerned here at SideDeal. I had the opportunity to work with a support person named Jessica. I have to say, she was truly awesome. No questions asked, just did as I requested. Terrific Customer Service

When I realized that one of the items I bought would not correctly, I reached out to Side Deal to let them know of the issue. Within hours, I received a response from Jessica that a refund was processed for the defective unit. Side Deal stands behind their products, even though they are typically deeply discounted!

A real person

A real person responded and without being asked sent me a refund for a very small tax that that had been placed on an order. With so many states with different sales taxes mistakes are understandable. Most other companies don't bother to rectify such a small mistake.

Jessica was super great

Jessica was super great. I was bummed that the fan came missing a leg but she answered my email quickly and when it was clear they couldn't provide me with a second leg, I was given an immediate refund. 10/10 experience.

It’s Not a Bad Side Deal!

I get angry with them as I think they sell some items that are not all that good quality, however it’s all relative to the price you pay and typically they are much less than the same item on Amazon. You just need to be patient. Plus their customer service is really very good. I worked with Jessica and she was quick to respond, had a solution and was very pleasant to work with. Kudos.

Had an issue and got resolved very fast.

Ordered some air tags on Meh/SideDeal and it was short one. I emailed customer service about the issue, at 9 pm and Sean reached out and resolved the issue by 10 am the next day
Great customer service and really makes me feel taken of. I have previously ordered a Sonos Arc, refurbished, from them, and when I received it looked new, in original Sonos packaging and all cables/cord was included. I was leery about making a $300 purchase from them, but twice now, they have come through for me.

I ordered a smartwatch from SideDeal…

I ordered a smartwatch from SideDeal that was highly problematic. I emailed their customer service, and they responded immediately. After sending them the requested materials (details, photos), they immediately refunded my purchase, without even requiring me to send the bad product back. I am seeing the refund on my credit card already, less than 24 hours after I sent the email to customer service - that's better than Amazon! And, by the way, my CSR (with Mercatalyst) Caitlin - she's amazing to work with: knowledgeable, understanding, focused, right on-point! I wouldn't hesitate ordering from SideDeal again!

D-Link indoor cameras that are obsolete no app support expired 7 months ago

I bought 2 D-Link silver indoor cameras for $24.99 each and like a few other negative reviews what they don’t tell you is that electronics in particular no longer have customer or in my case app support to use these cameras which expired in June 2025 as I am writing this January 16, 2026.

The site states 1-2 days response time and it’s been 4 from when I emailed the first time with no response so I filed a dispute with Citibank to either arrange a physical return by contacting them or just get a refund as D-Link no longer supports the cameras making them obsolete.

update January 17, 2026 the day after i wrote this review i got a response from sidedeal.com ironic considering i got no email reply for 4 days when i emailed them through their site.

Update January 22, 2026 you read below the response from sidedeal.com that they want me to email them again when I’ve already done it twice and use the excuse of being overloaded with emails when they haven’t responded both times I emailed them only when it comes to leaving a negative review they respond at all which means I’m stuck with these obsolete devices.

Unacceptable and will file a dispute with my bank.

Misrepresenting product condition and warranty

I bought a Sharper Image steam cleaner from Side Deal on August 1st and had it delivered August 8th. The first time I tried to use it in the middle of November it would only sputter out warm water. It never built pressure or sprayed at all. The product information PDF states a 1 year warranty on the item.
