Booked "type Corsa" with Sunny Cars trough Booking.com and we received a MG3 Hybrid. Car was clean en drives realy good.
Pick-up was fast, but difficult to understand at a crowded desk. There are a lot of papers to sign without you understanding what is you're signing for. The parking lot is is difficult to find in the dark and about 100m away from desk.
Returning in daylight was much easier and also very quick and helpful guys at the parking lot.

We had already prepaid the entire rental and were simply there to pick up the car. Despite this, we were treated incredibly rudely by the woman at the reception desk. She was unhelpful, dismissive, and showed absolutely no interest in providing good customer service.

The whole experience gave us the impression that they were constantly looking for ways to charge us additional fees, rather than simply providing the service we had already paid for. When you have already paid for your booking, the least you should expect is a professional, respectful, and helpful attitude.

Unfortunately, Sicily by Car completely failed in that regard. The customer service was extremely disappointing, and the way we were treated left a very bad impression of the company.

We will never rent from Sicily by Car again, and I would strongly recommend others to think twice before booking with them. There are plenty of other car rental companies where you can expect to be treated with basic respect and professionalism.

For us, it’s definitely never Sicily by Car again.

Worst holiday experience ever. They gave us incompatible child seat and didn’t even try to help because „This is not their responsibility”. They are also scamming you when you don’t have a credit card with you with extra expenses. 3 or 4 people got scammed by them when I was there. Be prepared to pay twice as much or even more when you book the car

I used Sicily by CAR for the second time, and once again, I was very pleased with the experience. It was a great automatic car that was practically new; I received quick service with clear instructions on where the car was located, and returning it was also quick and easy. In short, a great company that I can recommend!

I have traveled many times to Europe and have rented cars with at least 4 to 5 companies over the years maybe more. A friend recommend recommended your company. And I have to say I can clearly see why. From the minute, we approach the counter at the airport through the process all the way through drop off your employees were extremely professional in the process was easy and seamless. The car was exactly what we requested. It was clean. It did have damage already, but when I was pleasantly surprised with is how your company had it all documented and took the time upon drop off to look at the car and tell us that they compared the damage to what they had on file and confirmed that there was no new damage I will have to say that I personally take pictures of all my cars upon pick up and drop off because in the past I’ve had companies try to tell us we returned a car with more damage than when we picked it up. And I was able to show them pictures. What was nice about your company as you did that work upfront? Based on your facility and your employees, I will certainly recommend you to others and will rent from you again if I have the opportunity, thank you all for what you do every day.

Ordered a Jeep Renegade but all of these models were already rented out - ended up with something better; An almost brand new Jeep Compass. Very friendly and professional staff on the departure and on the arrival. I recommend Sicily by Car 💪💪💪

We hired a fiat Panda - it was great to drive and a perfect size for 2 people and hand luggage - with plenty of space.
We were concerned about the lack of sat nav - but the staff at pick up kindly leant us a plastic iPhone holder so we could safely use our phone.

I have bought from your counter full insurance
Why you blocked 500 euro as a refundable security amount

As I have international credit card , the 500 euro will come back to my account after 14 days

The lady on counter she said this amount to cover the fuel or in case you amend your reservation

Some other rent a car agencies, once we buy the full insurance from them, they don’t block at all the security amount

Due to the flight cancellation we had to book a car last minute from Pisa to drop off at Verona airport the next day
The staff were quick to provide a quote and then fill in the form to get us on our way within 10 mins
The car hired had scratches which we recorded and when we returned the vehicle to Verona site the rep quickly inspected and reported no issues and again I signed 3 digital documents and was on my way within 3-5 minutes

Happy to use the service again

We hired a 9 seater car from Verona Airport, Italy and it broke down after 10km.

The car was advertised as a Mercedes Vito or equivalent and we were given a tired Ford Transit with 72km on the clock. Not sure how you can consider a Ford to be an equivalent to a Mercedes when a Mercedes cost over 20% more from new.

The vehicle was provided to us unclean and not roadworthy. The car broke down in the first 10km due to it being supplied with an empty tank of AdBlue. The car had to be towed away and Sicily By Car were unable to provide a replacement.

Two weeks on and no refund has been given to us and, we have had to fund a replacement car with SIXT, at a high cost due to booking it on the day.

Customer service at head office has failed to respond to a single email and the Verona desk have washed their hands of it, saying we have to deal with head office and then they hang up. My wife called head office who have repeatedly put her on hold which after a few minutes, terminates the call.

This experience has been the worst we have ever had from a car hire company and it has tainted our whole holiday!

We got a great reception at the airport by LUCIA. She was very helpful and made the everything smooth at the pick up an drop off zone.

Everything was fine. From pick up to drop off. The Staff was kind.
