Shopee is absolutely infested with scammer accounts who rip you off without a second thought. And if you dare to file for a refund? Get ready for a marathon of frustration that’ll drain your time, energy, and sanity.

But wait, the fun doesn’t stop there — after all that effort, Shopee themselves swoop in to rob you again with their sneaky hidden fees. Unlike Lazada (which, by the way, actually understands the concept of “customer service” and refunds the full amount hassle-free), Shopee makes sure you don’t get your full refund. So congratulations, you just got scammed twice — once by the seller, and again by Shopee. Bravo.

And what happens to the scammer after you’ve proven your case and reported him? Nothing. The account stays up, business as usual. Shopee apparently thinks enabling scammers is good for business.

Here’s my personal “Shopee Experience”: I ordered a branded automatic diver’s watch for ₱5,024. What I got was a cheap, no-name Chinese quartz junk worth maybe ₱200. After a week and a half of emails, arguments, and return procedures, I finally got a “refund” of ₱4,766 — because apparently Shopee charges ₱258 for the privilege of being scammed on their platform.

In short: the site’s a scam, the sellers are crooks, and Shopee’s right there joining the party. Thanks for nothing, Shopee. Never again.

Meanwhile, over at Lazada — I’ve been ordering for over 10 years, and not once have I been scammed. Damaged item? Refund in an hour. Imagine that — efficiency and honesty. Two things Shopee’s clearly allergic to.

Your loan system is disappointing and manipulative. I wanted to pay my ₱50k+ loan early to reduce interest, but agents told me to settle the entire amount first, then they’ll “evaluate” if I get a refund. No clear terms. No transparency. This is a trap, not financial help!!!!! Stop punishing responsible borrowers!!!!!!

Ever since removing the stackable promos, Shoppee has turned into just another online selling platforms. What made me give them a chance before were the good deals. Not anymore. After finishing off my current transactions, I will end it with them.

Products are cheaper and the shipping fee is cheaper as well. I got a defective device once and the refund process is fast especially if you use shoppee pay as a payment mode

It is a good app! There are so many affordable stuffs though other stores are scam.

My son bought a study table, it came to him with damages. Customer service was so unreliable. They provide different kinds of wrong information. It's been a month now, no refund has been processed for my son. Will call back again and ask for their manager.

Giving Shoppee a chance to move above their very low ratings, a waste .

Now I am sure all of theses people were not wrong.
After dealing with Shoppee over a long period "Years"and many let downs :
Effect now I've closed my account and all future dealing with Shoppee or any vendors that sell through Shoppee .
I have also forward this info to all followers on social media, military and military veterans . Expats living in Vietnam, Taiwan and the Philippines .
All of my family and friends in Baguio, Manila, Leyte and Cebu .

Been a customer for a while now and I still get my stuff through them.

some of the product images and the one delivered is not the same.like the cargo pants.properly complained and took info by customer service.but the fake seller continiously sell the fake products.the company dont check the products authenticity if its the proper one.they just sell.sorry shoppee

It's a good app,it's more affordable and you can also start your own business but the others store are scam, please fix that
