I don’t want my shoes to smell likea perfume factory
I don’t need my shoes to smell like perfume. I wasn’t aware that Melissa shoes have a “signature scent” as this isn’t mentioned on the box when you buy them. When I was in the shoe store trying them on, all the competing smells of the shoes overpowered the scent of these shoes so I didn’t notice it until I got home. Unfortunately by then it was too late as I bought them on a stopover. Even after a month of airing them out outside, the sickly sweet smell from the shoes is still pervasive. It takes over 300 chemicals to make a fragrance (perfume), and a fragrance this strong and enduring requires some serious chemicals. We have enough chemicals in our environment already. I don’t need extra chemicals wafting from my shoes for me to constantly inhale.
