The app is complete junk now and is showing extremely inaccurate numbers on my (and many other) stores.

I understand this is due to a recent Shopify app update, which effectively 'patched' the data.

I asked Shophunter to verify and what it means for my prepaid membership and I am being ignored despite multiple follow ups.

This is an absolute scam and should be reported to the FBI.

So, I am going to update you guys on Shophunter.IO. This app is extremely inaccurate. I know, you'll see some people saying it's good. It's actually not. I personally put my store in ( New Store).In 3 weeks, I have made 10k. It's saying, I am making 3k everyday.. If I did, I would be on 63k not 10k. If you guys want to use this... Don't as it's not accurate and it's inflating numbers out of nowhere. Just don't want another person to use this useless app that doesn't tell you the right information. Apparently on this app, a lot of us are on 6-9 figs....

SCAM. Shopify patched the exploit that allowed trackers like ShopHunter to work a few weeks ago. Since then it appears they've gone 100% EVIL MODE and decided to try and dupe their users just so they could have some income still.

This is literally illegal.

I highly recommend you report them to the FBI 'cyber crime' department, so that this site can be shut down, and the users get their money back.

I noted to the team that the results were incorrect, and thought about giving it a month, and even then it overstated the results of my own stores significantly - if I can't trust it to report my own store's results accurately, how can I trust the information on other stores it provides?

BIG scam, this software showing random numbers to make people believe they are tracking sales lol, I added 5 of my own shopify stores and they all wrong by far.. like 10 times the sales 20 times... avoir and report this app ASAP .

Works really great, just ignore all the negative reviews. Shophunter is the best tool out there to spy on competitors (Shopify stores)

I barely just open my store and decide to see if that thing was really working apperently I made over 10k a day and got over 500 orders... I haven't got a single order yet

Firstly, plans are not cheap. I purchased the pro plan at $75 month. The app is a scam as far as I am concerned. I tracked my own store and wish my sales were as good as Shop Hunter was reporting. Sales were 10 times the actual sales in my store and SH was showing sales on numerous products I have not sold.

The only thing that is accurate is the products they show that I carry in the store - everything else appears to be false stats - made up out of thin air.

Based on what the app reported for my own store, I would say this app is fraudulent. At minimum, highly deceptive.

If you cannot trust the data - the app is useless. I feel ripped off at $75 month. If it was $4.99 a month, yah I would say you get what you pay for. But at $75 you expect accurate data.

If I could give it a negative review, I would. Complete waste of money.

Only 3 stars. I cross referenced supposed million dollar fashion stores with SimilarWeb. SimilarWeb tells you no traffic is being generated 😂. Also it tends to take the full price and not the sale price, over-inflating some stores. Used the app extensively and can be useful with due diligence!

Doesnt work. its just a scam that gives you fake numbers, they cant access shopify sales, i tracked my own and it was all wrong. dont waste your time

ShopHunter has been amazing so far! I don't understand why people are writing misleading information on the app... When I have been using the app myself for nearly 9 months.. I don't think the numbers are 100% accurate; but they're most likely close to the actual figures.. A lot of sites that you put through Shophunter, show that people aren't earning much money at all.. I don't know why people are saying all sites are showing 5 figs + to 6 figs a day; when only a small percentage show those figs in a day... Like probably 5% and the rest are earning a few grand or a few hundred a day... This is a great tool to show you what your competitors best selling products are, and you can use the information to workout what would be the best niche for you to enter in. Of course do your due diligence and research too... You can't 100% rely on any apps.

Fraud. Apparently you can get $90 with only 2 $5 orders. Apparently $90 in sales also equals $0 in sales, as reported by another part of their website.

At least if you're going to make a scam, don't be lazy; make the numbers match up.

Apparently some very popular stores (such as LTTStore) earn very little (around 10k in 4 years), when they obviously don't, and the "sales" don't line up with actual sales.

I have to say, I fell for the whole ShopHunter experience when i wanted to spy on a business I sold, to see how they were doing now. According to ShopHunter, they're killing it, and I was kicking myself for selling the biz because that could have been me if I invested more into marketing. I still couldn't understand it though, as the numbers didn't add up when i considered the demographic etc. So I asked the new owner directly how their sales were going, and it became crystal clear that the numbers in ShopHunter are fudged up. The numbers the new owner gave are much more realistic and along the lines of what we used to sell before we sold it. I was SO excited to have such a great portal to track my new competitors for my latest business venture and was even loosely basing my business outlook around it as a guide for my new demographic. As a seasoned business owner, I was able to be sceptical, but ShopHunter can ruin businesses starting out, and who rely on their numbers to calculate the viability of a business they wish to enter. This should be illegal and there really should be a class action taken for those who pay for this service, and those who based their business decisions off it.

While I'm at it, the same thing happened with other apps I used too, like PPSpy and more. They're all scamming you.

First off, I signed up for this tool during a live presentation where the “owner” himself was offering a free month. My coupon didn’t work and it ended up charging me for the month. I messaged the owner and he said he would take care of it. After not hearing back for a few days I message back and he says the same thing again, but guess what, he never even bothered to “take care” of anything. I guess this is a company that values $50 more than their users experience. Now let me talk about the tool itself, I tried it on 3 different stores - 2 of mine and one of my buddies and all the stores are doing five figure months for all of 2022 and this tool was showing all stores doing crazy numbers ($10,000-$15,000) per day. They are luring in beginners and making them think they’re looking at real data when in reality there’s no way for these guys to access backend data from Shopify. I would assume they’re merely going off the traffic.

good tool but sales are incorrect !!
the numbers of sales and revenue are not correct!
check it yourself , place a new product on your shop , and it will pop up as a sale, if u have like 5 variants it will show up as 5 sales , so numbers shown are not correct , for the rest its a usefull app tho but they should fix this !

Who doesn't love tools that make their life easier? What was once done with spreadsheets and tons of hours now just requires the swipe of the ole CC at Shophunter. 10/10 customer service, too!
