This used to be such great hummus. Then one day, I got home, cracked open the lid and noticed that it... looked different. I swooped my carrot in with a generous portion of slightly watery looking hummus hanging off, and took a bite. It tasted cheap and nasty. Can't believe it. I used to lavash every bite and tell all my friends about it. Not anymore.

It's as if they sold it to Blackrock and Bill Gates rearranged the ingredients.

Shame.

What the hell did you do Ramona? Or as I suspect more strongly, whichever suit was behind the decision of RUINING ONE OF THE BEST STORE HUMMUS' EVER - WHAT AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE YOU ARE. There's obviously been some sort of recipe change in the last few months (to bolster profit margins I imagine) cause this has gone from being my favourite product to going straight in the bin after two tastes - the first taste was offensive enough but I had to make sure I wasn't in a fever dream and that my palate wasn't betraying me for whatever reason. But Alas, no! My faithful palate was not the culprit on this occasion. And don't worry folks, they haven't left out any of their products, the whole range has been affected by corporate greed! What a way to lose customers, so stupid. Will never purchase a thing from this company ever again.

What has happened to Ramona? Absolutely ruined - runny, watery and unappealing to look at and tasting vile. Now worse than basic supermarket fare. I suggest you go back to your old recipe before going out of business. Or perhaps there is now a new owner trying to squeeze margin… avoid!

Absolutely delighted last year when I discovered this. (After a Radio 4 programme that featured it). Last couple of tubs I have bought have been totally different. Thin, runny and acid. What have they done!!!

I have purchased this houmous multiple times as it was our family favourite, but this time I don’t know what has happened it is really runny the taste is different not nice and has a clear liquid on top. Why have they changed a brilliant product to something so horrible

This used to be the best hummus ever tasted, but has recently changed its recipe and now it's runny and has a weird taste. Will no longer be buying anymore.

I loved this hummus a lot and it was one of my favourites but recently I realised that it’s changed and the consistency is different as well as taste… it feels as there are more chemicals and now it tastes like all other commercially produced hummuses in supermarkets

Unfortunately I’m not sure I’ll continue buying it

I love Ramona’s Jalapeño Houmous the only problem is I was buying the big pots just for me. I wrote to Ramona’s back in 2023 asking if they could get the smaller 250g pots stocked in Sainsbury’s. Fast forward to 2024 and I recently found the 250g pots in Sainsbury’s 🎉🎉🎉.
Love it when you get a company with great products that listens to its customers.

I'm afraid I was very disappointed at the ingredients as no one in the Mediterranean makes houmous with rapeseed oil we use olive oil for everything it's our nectar from the gods. Vegetable oil is used for cleaning machinery and is so bad to be consumed.

This has been my absolute favourite ready made hummus for a long time - the taste really is a cut above the rest. I had a lovely experience with the team behind it recently - I found a lump of white powder (appeared to be citric acid) in a tub and once I contacted them (not really expecting anything just wanting to refer a possible batch issue and feedback to help future production) they were very responsive and sent me a little gift of 3 new tubs and some recipes which was a nice touch. Well done Ramona's team 👍🏻

The jalepeno one is my absolute fave! I always buy one a week at least, but the only I bought this weekend has a stone in it! Nearly broke a tooth

The most delicious hummus! Completely right to describe it as Heavenly! Super creamy and so flavourful! I love the Jalapeño flavour as it has a kick but is not crazy spicy and is still very hummusy.

Simply the best houmous I’ve ever had! Since I bought it 2 days ago, it’s all I’ve been eating, tomatoes with a sprinkle of salt and pepper and houmous, avocado on toast with houmous, dipping veg into the houmous. Oh it’s so yummy! 😍

Ramona's "Humous". I bought this for the first time today from Morrisons, opened it, tasted it, and threw it straight in the bin. I don't know what crap was in the container but it isn't humous. Tastes like pureed poop with some garam masala thrown in just to make it even more disgusting. I'm from Lebanon, the home of humous. Please stop calling this pig swill humous.

Similar to the Sabra situation, picked the Ramona humous, we all really enjoyed it, might be a good idea to make one with chick peas and pine nuts. Well done.

So I went to tescos knowing I was entertaining quite a few people this season so went in looking for sabra my favourite ever humus that everyone always loves and says omg this is delicious, Tesco said they we’re not selling it over the Christmas period, I was gutted!!!! Had a look and ramonas looked the best, I tried it as did friends and family and all agreed taste is delicious and we really enjoyed however is a little lumpy, we all like it smooth with additional textures like pine nuts or chillies 🌶️ great product better than 90% I’ve tried but try a little sabra and make your texture a little smoother and I may switch

I have been fortunate enough to travel the world over 35 years, a lot being to the Middle East.

I have just bought your heavenly houmous and I can tell you you won’t get done for copyright breach!!

It is heavenly!

The only thing I am missing is the bread and heat and I could close my eyes and be there!

Honestly this is the best I've ever tasted, I drive half an hour to bulk buy. The fluffiest, lightest, yet most filling ever. I'm vegan so believe me I know my hummous 😂
