Customer service representative at the Yoker branch may need some upskilling in customer service, as well as social skills.

The staff at penny lane are helpful and go above and beyond, even when there workload is very busy
Eg : when people ( Joe blogs public )
Decide to empty there garage
Clear out there spare room
Empty there loft: They just accept hey ho " this are job" and get on with it . And if a member of staff has an
" off day " do you know what there only human !! I personally hate sorting my floor robe but it done when I'm feeling OK. Would any one of you do there job ???

Just don't waste your time donating to these.
I just went to a store and asked if they wanted a glass TV stand and they said " No ".
I'm guessing they don't need items at all then. This is the second store I've been to in my life and both times they've refused any items at all. Maybe it's time to shut Barbados down because to me theyre just a massive scam.

I would suggest that one does not use the online shop for buying any goods. I bought two lamps two months ago. They arrived. As they were inferior I sent them back a week apart using Freepost Barnardos as per the return instructions . Eventually one lamp was refunded, the other appears to have disappeared Im instructed by Jen at Barnardos that in unfortunately used the wrong return, through no fault of my own. Avoid buy goods from this charity.

Absolutely a corrupt organisation. Visited there store on malpas road. Firstly picked up a daughter charm at the counter to only have it snatched from me and put under the counter as I mentioned it looked like silver and refused to sell it to me. Just ignored me asking to buy it, turned there back and carried on doing what they where doing with zero manners. Then as I was at till they where sorting through bags and putting stuff away saying there nice put them away for me I.e brown boots. Not allowed to search through bags and take out what you fancy then sell the rest. Then the best bit I made a complaint over the phone to there head office the women was lovely and told me I would receive a phone call from area manager and that they should of sold me that item as priced she was sorry for there behaviour. So the area manager phoned me….. well firstly (absolute weasel of a thing) tried to take the high ground thinking he was higher than me and talking down to me. He had zero care about the incident just told me that the lady was right to take the item from me and if it was silver it had to go to head office to maximise profit. He mentioned he had also already spoken to the team and got there account of what happened and I wouldn’t be hearing anything back. Also told me I did buying and selling (absolutely none of his business and doesn’t matter if I did) told me in the past that “ dumb girls had sold breitling watches in the past for £5’ so from now on all jewellery, watches, gold and silver goes to head office to be checked 😂 yea right. More like your top dogs put it aside and buy it there selves for peanuts. Just pure corruption should be investigated. Hide behind the fact ‘ we are a charity’

Rude staff and manager in coventry central six accused me of stealing and took my personal belongings without proof! The commodity they claimed that I stole was actually what I bought from poundland 5 min ago. They harassed me with several different version of accusation while refusing to show me the CCTV. First they said I put something in my bag, then they said I passed something to someone else. Despite the manager from Pounland testified for me, the staff refused to admit they were wrong and threat me of putting me on trouble because I raised my voice. The security guy are getting very close to me physically and making me scared and gave me a panic attack, yet his face looked enjoying this. They dare to do this because their manager allows so and join the illegal accusation. And there's no respect and investigation protocol at all!

The most unbelievable and illegal part is : They claimed that if I couldn't find the receipt to prove the item then the item was stolen from theirs. They are extremely arrogant even they found they were wrong and expect I don't know how to fight. Such a shame that they do this to people in a place for charity. This charity shop shouldn't exist. Shame on all the staff there!

Good little shop great supervisor jane Wilson she nice and polite always says thank you Always makes the shop is clean and tidy when she leaves nice to the customers too thank you Jane Banarados you have a great supervisor .

I found 3 great 1000 piece jigsaws on their site (£6.50 each-new) and they were delivered within 3 days for £2.99. Fantastic-would use again!!
