It's ok
It's ver well decorated, foods quite nice accept the macaroni and cheese tastes a little frozen and gritty, and the table wasn't cleaned when we got here.

Our favourite place - the staff are always attentive and smiley - especially Jay and Danny :)
The vibes, drinks and food are excellent. Honestly nowhere better to be when the sun is out :))
We visited to celebrate a birthday
Waited nearly an hour and a half for food to arrive, when it did it was cold and side dishes were dry and over cooked, almost £20+ for meals and£6.50 a drink not once were we asked how the meal was or if everything was ok
Do not go here,it’s very poor standard of cuisine
Visited for a birthday meal. Service excellent and reasonably quick. Choices were limited and the food was average but good value, apart from one which I commented on. Ordered drinks and desert which was very nice. I did expect some kind of discount considering one meal was not up to standard but they said they would report my complaint to the kitchen.
We have eaten in this pub several times and lunchtime seems to be the best menu. I wouldn't eat in the evening again because the food was just heated up but in fairness it was ok but not something I would recommend.
Lovely pub, very nice staff but like most places it's hit and miss as busy.

Over £100 for two with one medium glass of wine. Very unemaginative menu and we left most of the main course we ordered. This was a huge mound of cold potato mixed with chopped beetroot and on top of this purple mass a few (and I mean a few) skiffs of hot smoked trout. All for £20 - not good.
Sorry Ship Inn but you are surviving on your publicity and location - but with this level of food not for much longer I would suggest,
Service was very good and cheerful.
