Not displaying my review on website

Thinx has raised their prices while lowering their quality. When I left a negative review on their website on a product I purchased, they didn't post the review alongside the positive ones. They are deliberately silencing bad review on their site, so while they have a good return policy, they are not trustworthy.

Contacted them because I heard about…

Contacted them because I heard about the lawsuit in the US because of dangerous material found in their underwear. They didn’t response and ignored my messages for some time, then they sent me avoidant messages ignoring the subject. Dodgey company. If there was nothing untoward going on they could have reassured me. Their customer service is awful.

Beware of this company

Beware of this company. Think makes it nearly impossible to return items. They place barriers to accessing a human to help with the return process and you have to wait for approval for a return. My approval never came and I went in circles with a chat bot. I eventually put the underwear in the trash where it belongs. Didn't realize until after I purchased that Thinx had a class action lawsuit against them for putting poisonous chemicals PFA's into their products and lying to consumers about it.

Absolutely Horrible

Given the recent findings about tampons & pads I came across Thinx and after looking at their products I decided to place an order, only to find out that they settled a lawsuit in 2023 that had to do with their products containing PFA’s. I went to cancel my order, only a few minutes after I placed it, only to be told that they can’t cancel orders because their team has such a quick turn around time and they want to get my order to me as soon as possible. (This is completely false. It took them three business days to process and ship out my order. Five days all together, during which time they had plenty of time to cancel my order.) I got my order and since I knew I already wanted to return it I went to their website and immediately started the return process only for the website to tell me that three of the items that I ordered “do not meet conditions for return”. There’s no explanation as to what that even means and how they determine that, especially since I literally just recieved my order and haven’t opened any of the items in the order. Contacted their customer service and am waiting for a response but at this point I’m fed up and want nothing to do with this company ever again. Don’t order from them. Don’t trust them.

Works ok, but deceptive sales

The underwear itself is ok, but the selling process is deceptive. I ordered sale items and their website changed my size sneakily as the page went from choosing to cart, so I wouldn't notice. I wear an L in their size and now have very expensive 1x and 2x underwear that's totally useless for the purpose for which it is designed because it's like clown wear.

They're claiming I ordered this on my own: I would never go from an L and skip past XL AND X to get to 1X and then 2X? Who knowingly orders four sizes too large for them?

about a year since i started using these and they basically became regular underwear. no absorption even tho it's the max absorbent ones. also with the lawsuit and horror stories, there's no reason to give this company any money. i'm now testing out other brands of period underwear such as modibodi and the period company

Read ANY and ALL fine print

Read ANY and ALL fine print. I ordered sale items and I ordered a bunch and different sizes and styles. ALL were too big. My invoice in the box and email said I can return within x amount of days so I tried to send them back for an exchange only, not refund. I was told I couldn’t return sale items. I was so frustrated because I didn’t see that information anywhere and my invoices stated otherwise and no one cared. That was not ok. Of course with the class action lawsuit I’m thankful they didn’t fit.

This company is involved in a class action suit for dangerous and false advertisement

I’ve tried contacting this company for nearly a month, to get answers from them about the class action lawsuit they are involved in, but they refuse to reply. They are being sued in federal court for false advertising and using dangerous and toxic chemicals in their products, in spite of advertising that nothing toxic is used. I have been asked to join the class action suit, but am choosing a personal lawsuit instead because I have worn their products for years, trusting that their advertising was truthful. Who knows what risk I have incurred or what disease I might end up with because of their products!! Buyers need to be aware that this company is currently involved in a class action suit in federal court, and avoid using this company’s products!

Thinx for nothing, cancer-peddling charlatans

Like many women, I was misled by their marketing. Who knows what damage I’ve done to my body wearing underwear with PFAs in it. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and never thought my underwear could have been the cause. And I washed my regular clothes with these too, likely contaminating everything with cancer-causing PFAs. Thinx should be shut down. They stain and stink almost instantly, besides. I’m so upset that I bought these underwear for years. Such a disappointment.

Total fail

I wish I could post photos. Absolute fail. I was wearing a backup pad which worked like a charm but there was some overflow. The overflow went right through the Thinx underwear as if it was plain underwear! It couldn't even handle overflow!! Contacted Thinx and the response I got was, "Sorry, you got those on sale, so no refund for you." That's not even what I wanted. I wanted an explanation. I'm glad I was home when this happened. PFA's aside, I'm never buying from them again.

Disappointing

Got stung with import tax (fair enough not their fault!), but it made them that much more expensive. I bought medium, and they are uncomfortably tight, particularly around the leg holes. A year on they are looking fairly wrecked too. Not as absorbent as I would have hoped, I use them with my mooncup on heavy days, and only on their own towards the end of my period. Overall very disappointing purchase.

My sister tossed all her underwear for…

My sister tossed all her underwear for these. Her reward? Yeast infection after yeast infection, BV and finally, fibroid tumors. Turns out it was her underwear. The chemicals in these panties are causing real physical trauma to real women. This has to stop.

What happened to good ol' Thinx?

I'm having the same issue as others here are saying.
I've been a customer of Thinx since 2017. I noticed early on that the quality was kind of meh. And they are not cheap. But back then, we didn't have many options, and the customer service used to be very good, so I made a few purchases through out the years. Nowadays, we have more companies making similar products with better quality and better price, so I hadn't gone back to Thinx in a while. But their recent sale was too appealing to pass, so i bought a few. What I received was not the same product I was hoping for, and when I contacted the seller (more than a few times) there was no response. I was sure that the issue was going to be solved. It had always had in the past. But not anymore it seems. There must have been a change in the management or something. Anyways, this is disappointing.

If you have money to burn…

I bought 3 pairs for my daughter. It turns out I should have ordered the next size larger. When I tried to exchange (not return, but exchange) they told me that because they were on sale (not clearance) they were non-returnable. These things are EXPENSIVE and their customer service doesn’t give a whip about their customers. There are other companies out there with similar products, and perhaps are companies that care about their customers and generating repeat business. I will gladly give them my business but Thinx, you need to “thinx” about the big picture.

This is a terrible company

This is a terrible company, I tried to cancel my order as soon as I realized that they had falsely advertized a sale on leak proff underwear. Their ad should have said "on select pairs" turned out to be only 2 pairs but all pairs came up when my selection was made. When I did not get the 50% off I tried to cancel. Katie said my order was being processed and I could not cancel, it was 10:30 PM on a Sunday.I knew no one was working then but I couldn't cancel. Now they are saying I cannot get a refund, this is the most unethical, lying company I have ever run across! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spent £100 on organic cotton ones - not great

Spent £100 on organic cotton ones. Worked brilliantly for the first COUPLE of uses. After that, they began to LEAK after just a COUPLE OF HOURS use, and developed a nasty smell that will not come out. I have tried everything - baking soda, white vinegar, essential oils, washing powder… the lot. Not sure if I did something wrong but they now have a permanent smell that causes my leggings to smell, and they are not as soft as before. Would not recommend - disappointed seeing how expensive they were. I have gone back to using organic cotton biodegradable pads.

Horrendous Company!!! Avoid!

I have purchased Thinx pants over the past few years and have been extremely upset with the quality of them. Not only do they not do the job that they promise. The elastic is so inferior that despite being careful how I wash them. Not long after buying them the elastic starts to shred. I have made many attempts to contact customer service (through several attempts by email and on Twitter) and have been absolutely ignored! I certainly will not recommend them either for their products or their appalling customer service which is quite frankly an insult to consumers. If they contact me now after this I will be surprised! What a waste of money!
