Founded in 1954 by Denis and Winnie Sheahan, Sheahan’s Hardware has been a cornerstone of the Nenagh community for over six decades. What began as a small hardware shop on Pearse St. has grown into a thriving, well respected and recognised business.
In 1985, we relocated to a new and larger premises in Banba Square, the old Rialto cinema, a move that allowed us to further expand our product range and services to better serve our valued customers.
For 35 years we proudly traded in Banba Square, earning the trust and loyalty of our customers. In 2020, we took another leap forward, moving to our current premises on Martyrs Road. This site holds historical significance in the town as it was once a Malthouse and Distillery and during the Famine, it served as an Auxiliary Workhouse – a testament to the ensuring spirit of resilience and growth that defines Sheahan’s Hardware.

Orders placed before 11am only. Will be dispatched the same day.
Standard Delivery
All our orders are shipped from our store in Nenagh Co. Tipperary Ireland. Standard delivery orders will be shipped with DPD. These can be tracked with online tracking. We offer delivery to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Local Delivery
We are fully equipped with our own delivery trucks to guarantee quality service. Please allow 2-3 days for delivery Monday - Friday. This service is available within a 40 kilometer radius of Nenagh, minimum delivery charge of €10 - delivery charge may be subject to distance.
Large/Bulky Items
This service is €60.00 for our large items, delivery will take 4-5 working days.

You never get a second chance at the first impression
Great Company to deal with. Ordered a BBQ on 14th June with a 10 day lead time.
Paul sent regular updates regarding the in store delivery as dates were pushed out through no fault of Sheahans.
I chose to collect as it was more convenient.
When I went to pick up the BBQ Paul had kindly and unexpectedly included a nice surprise of a free bag of charcoal...!!!
Totally unexpected and I was impressed with the communication and updates. I really wasn't under any pressure to accept but Sheahans obviously take great pride in their customer care.
As the saying goes...
'You Never Get A Second Chance At The First Impression'
Well for me Paul and the team nailed it on this occasion.
I shall be using them again and will always recommend Sheahans Homevalue for Value and Service.

Great service - wrong gas canisters were delivered and resolved on same day with very friendly customer service! This was only the first time an order went wrong (always has been on the ball with very fast delivery) and the way how it was handled was extremely good, very happy customer I am!
