Wrong item
Ordered an item from the website which was marked as a Medium, I received a small medium and when I contacted 'Customer Service' they at the same time told me they had fixed the mistake on the website, while also explaining there was nothing wrong and I wasn't entitled to a refund unless I paid to return it.
I had already paid the delivery charge and to return, would have to pay the postage fee too.
Avoid shopping here, as if you get sent the wrong items you'll be out of pocket yourself to rectify Shaws error.
Unfortunate buy by me
Well I bought something from Shaws just recently, that unfortunately was unsuitable for my needs and I can honestly say the staff were completely understandable and made a full refund immediately. It was my fault so had nothing to do with them but unquestionably they looked after me.

Horrible online order customer
Horrible online order customer, not only do they take ages to update the order information but I have had multiple times them canceling my order without reason when I’ve been waiting on them for days to send me my order updates. I would only be notified after I email them asking where my order is and they just blatantly reply by saying ‘your order will be refunded’ without any explanation. They confirm the order, charge my card and then sit on it for it for days until I email them for a follow up only to get a reply that they’ll be refunding me. Highly unprofessional!

Where to start
Where to start, I went in to book an appointment for some individual eyelashes. First at Christmas she kept working I presumed she did not hear me! I just thought she was busy. I went in last week and she told me to go to Linda maher "it's cheaper" so now at this point refused me an appointment three times. I didn't get the blatent discrimination till the third refusal of an appointment. I'm disabled so I don't know if it was the disability or she judged I was to low class and suggested Linda maher! Her estimation not mine I will add of Linda maher salon (cheap). I'm considering legal action against shaws. They are under a rebrand all under one roof so to speak hair outfit eyelashes makeup. When you have a few judgemental sales staff looking at a person that's disabled, making paying customers uncomfortable and denying service. I will consult my solicitor for legal advice against shaws blatent discrimination. It's not the first time a sales woman was rude there's two others was quite openly hostile when I asked for assistance plus the eyelash woman, quite a pattern emerging mainly with two women of the sales staff that's there years. At the very least the manager will need to have a chat with the jaded so called customer service sales people . In saying that there is more good sales persons than bad in shaws mainly a small platinum haired gorgeous woman don't know her name will update when I do that goes beyond to chat and assist and one of the counter girls is exceptionally helpful she wears a hairband will find out your names and update. I will update if and when I seek legal advice for the discrimination. This is shaws of carlow .
