Rude customer service and inconveniences
Customer service varies greatly depending on whom you get on the phone. I've had an account with this credit union for two years, but I'm shutting it down because I'm sick of encountering rude and hateful representatives (some have bordered on abusive) and the extreme inconvenience of their Fraud Department blocking my debit card because they suspect fraud, even when my purchases were not of a high dollar amount. Thankfully, I have another credit union debit card to fall back on, or else I could have been stranded in precarious situations, unable to purchase gas while traveling out of town or buy food without having to go through an interview with a bot to clear up a non issue. The fraud detection service has never been helpful! I will never use this credit union again.
