Extremely Disappointing Experience

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Customer Service

We visited the restaurant some time ago and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience, mainly due to the attitude of one particular waiter. We were later informed that he was fasting (due to his religion), which apparently explained his bad mood — though that hardly justifies the treatment we received.

As first-time visitors, we were unfamiliar with the system of ordering via tablet. We ordered our starters and mains together, as is typical in most restaurants. Shortly after, the waiter approached us waving the printout of our order and, in a very rude tone, told us we had ordered too many dishes at once.

Despite our polite apology, the situation quickly deteriorated. Dishes began arriving chaotically — plates were almost thrown onto the table. We hadn’t even finished one dish before two or three more would arrive in quick succession, all served in an unfriendly and dismissive manner.

When we politely asked the waiter to slow down the service, he responded by canceling the rest of our order — meaning we only received about half of what we had initially ordered.

We attempted to speak with the manager on our way out, only to be told that nothing could be done because the waiter was hungry and irritated due to his fasting. We were offered a small discount (around 20%), but it did little to make up for the experience.

The idea of a modern, tablet-based ordering system is interesting, but the service was so poor that it completely ruined the evening. If you are looking for a restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and professional service — this is not the place. We will definitely not be returning.
