Cancellation problems galore

While I was actively using the WiFi there was no problem. This was in my holiday home in Burgundy. Late last year I sold the house and the house agent was tasked with calling to cancel the contract. She spent 35 minutes on the phone explaining that the house was sold and that I do not live in France.
What followed was a succession of phone calls trying to get me to change my mind. After 3 such calls on the same day I said. 'The house is sold. I live in England. That's enough!'
But the calls kept coming along with demands for more payments. Eventually I visited a sales office in a nearby town and a helpful assistant confirmed that the contract had been terminated and printed off confirmation of this. But the calls kept coming and demands for payment were persistent. Initially I would reply to these stating that the contract was terminated and adding a copy of the SFR email confirmation of this. But to no avail. I now get regular demands for the payment that are not valid. Nearly 5 months after the original call from my French agent, which the visit to their showroom confirmed. I have given up responding because it has no effect.
There are vague threats about enforcement legal action. But I now take no notice.

Management to the internet cable infrastructure

In France, installation of fiber optic cables is awarded in geographical lots to the various market operators. Then, internet providers lease the use of the cables to the installer. In my geographical area, the cable installer is SFR. My internet provider is Orange. Back from a journey, I note that my internet access is broken. I call the Orange support who searches for the nature of the breakdown, finds that it affects 65 other Orange subscribers, and that it will last for 4 days. But no information from SFR, no explanation. And no compensation for the mandatory use of 4G shared connection with a smartphone, to replace the interrupted fiber access.
That's a lousy commercial attitude. I already knew that SFR support is really poor. Now I know that I will never by a client of that company.

Selectra m'a fait une offre via leur site Web en anglais que j'ai acceptée.

Malheureusement, les e-mails qui prétendaient confirmer l'accord n'étaient pas les mêmes que l'offre.

J'ai résilié avec Selectra et avec SFR. SFR continue d'essayer d'avancer. Leurs e-mails sont marqués "ne pas répondre" donc je ne le fais pas.

Je me demande combien de temps il leur faudra pour réaliser leur erreur !

Selectra made an offer to me through their English website which I accepted.

Unfortunately, the emails that claimed to confirm the deal were not the same as the offer.

I cancelled with Selectra and with SFR. SFR keeps trying to proceed. Their emails are marked "do not reply" so I don't.

I wonder how long it will take them to realise their mistake!

Une expérience épouvantable.
J'ai essayé de retracter nos contrats de carte SIM et d'ADSL. L'experience de cette entreprise est si terrible que l'équivalent de "conseillers" ont refusé de me parler, ne m'ont pas rappelé lorsque je leur ai demandé de m'appeler via le "chat" en ligne et ont bloqué l'accès au "forfait" pour la carte sim sur l'"espace client" (j'ai une capture d'écran de cela). Bien sûr, il n'y a pas d'adresse e-mail pour ceux qui souhaitent les contacter de cette façon.

A simply dreadful experience.
I have been trying to retract our sim card and ADSL contracts. The company is so terrible did the equivalent of "advisers" refusing to speak to me, failed to phone me back when I asked them to call me through the "chat" online and blocked access to the "forfait" for the sim card on the "espace client" (I have a screenshot of this). Of course, there is no email address for those wishing to contact them that way.
