Grimsby service centre was supposed to…

Grimsby service centre was supposed to attend a pre arranged appointment and week prior left telephone message to ring them which I did and got no answer, every day for 5 days and JOHN LEWIS could not get hold of them as well when they failed to attend for a repair job. Following week they rang and said we could not attend last week, ringing to make another appointment with no apology of failing to attend and when questioned about not answering the phone was the response WE ARE NOT A CALL CENTRE, and all of the time the manner of the lady was from the start to finish was very abrupt, so lost total faith of our faulty ELECTROLUX appliance failing for the third time on the combined original freezer and replacement so with help from JOHN LEWIS purchased a replacement from a different manufacturer to whom customer service was BRILLIANT and very apologetic.

Engineer was requested to call 30…

Engineer was requested to call 30 minutes before appointment to confirm time of arrival. Refused to do so. Spent 10 minutes testing machine and said it was working properly. Stopped working during first wash. A complete waste of time. Cancelled Domestic and General policy. Shall organise my own repairs in future.

I would like to provide you with positive feedback DEAN CARR at serviceforce pacifica which I believe is the best engineer in Birmingham

DEAN is brilliant in all aspects, his role, approach, listening, understanding and his response to the issues in finding best ways to address them. DEAN is not judgemental nor bias.

I fully appreciate DEAN time, his hard work and effort. Although it is his job, he truly take that extra mile (goes above and beyond) to ensure that he provide efficient advice and service. And I cannot thank him enough.

It is very rare to find one that is very dedicated, who listens and understands. And is willing to do a job to the best of their ability. I greatly value his role and hardwork. And I greatly thank him. Well recommended engineer in Birmingham.

Domestic and General repairs do not…

Domestic and General repairs do not take serious any complaints from customers , they use engineers from a company called Service Force Domestic Repair and Electrical and Gas repairs, both companies are rude and abusive on the phone and engineers are very intimidating .
Please do not use them for your repairs, at the end of the year you can spend a lot on a policy and nobody cares. Avoid getting upset when you need a repair, better to pay yourself for occasional repairs

Would like to give 0 stars, but not possible. I have a AEG extractor and it stopped working while on manufacturers warrantee. Contacted AEG and they booked me a date with a service force. Next day they called me and said they will turn up anytime 8am-8pm! I kindly asked if I could have either morning or afternoon so either me or my husband could stay as we both working full time. Angry answer -NO! I asked if there are any other possible options - again angry voice saying NO!. Then he become rude saying they are not comming and there is nothing they can do and put the phone down!
So I gone back to AEG, they booked another date, I took a holiday. No confirmation or anything so day before I have called the service force myself. First they couldn't find me, then said post code in the system was incorrect. When I asked if they are comming tomorrow, thay said - NO! Apparently AEG booked for day that was full. Maybe in that case there should be some sort of communication???? When I asked them for any solution, again rude voice - get back to AEG!.
Useless, worst service ever!

Service Farce talked some rubbish about the AEG booking system does not talk to their system. Well fix it, if you cannot book in the work don’t take on the work and leave customers waiting in all day.

Do Not Use This Organisation - Awful!!!!!!!

Do not use this organisation!!!!!!!
I am a Pilot, and was relying on a prompt efficient service for an urgent repair, but got the complete opposite.
I had an appointment, which they confirmed by Text and Email, so I organised my rota to be there all day but they never turned up.
So, I expected the next day. But they then offered the next available appointment 10 days after - which I can't do as I'm working.
From the fault being reported, and paid for, to being repaired will have taken a month.
And contacting anyone other than going through a portal is almost impossible.
Best avoided

Brilliant Service

I contacted AEG Electrolux as our washing machine tumble drier would not tumble dry they got me to sign up to Domestic and General for a year as our machine was over two years old it was arranged for an engineer to inspect the machine the young engineer arrived and he was very polite and friendly he said I know what is wrong with your machine and within ten minutes he had fitted a new sensor and fixed the problem

Washer/Dryer repair job 10751269

Tina the engineer was superb from start to finish. She kept us up to date even from the evening before her visit, sending a text message of her ETA. She was efficient,thorough,clean,tidy and very conscientious. Fitted a new drum and dryer heater and machine is working lovely once again. My only slight gripe is nothing to do with the engineer or indeed the quality of the workmanship, but rather that the parts had to be ordered in from overseas and took about a month to arrive. So several weeks passed without a working washing machine to use. Very surprised that there is no stock held in a central UK warehouse which undoubtedly speeded up the overall repair time considerably. But full marks to Tina again who did a superb job. Thanks again for getting us up and running again. Top class. T&J O (Rugby Warwickshire) Job Ref 10751269.

Repair not completed and left the machne in a worst state than before
Engineer couldnt get the machine out and therfore unable to replace the part just left - we then found problem with the door not positioned correctly causing a problem wen trying to open it -now worse off than before Contacted the company and they are not interested

This is the 2nd time I have used…

This is the 2nd time I have used service force for repairs, I opted for fixed price repair to include parts. On each occasion the engineer turned up as promised with the part in hand and proceeded to carry out the repair. The engineer on this occasion was competent and none of the usual hesitancy experienced with other repairers. He was able to identify the issue through my description prior to arriving. He was excellent

Long wait for poor response

The only way to contact this company is through a phone line - no email or web-booking. I hung on for fifteen minutes before the phone was answered. That's almost as bad as the electric utlities! Then, having explained the problem with my fridge/freezer (which is 17 years old) I was informed that they would not even come out to a machine older than 12 years. Considering the manufacturer very strongly advises use of this firm, it would be polite for them at least to state on the website their sniffiness about machines over 12 years old.
We inherited this fridge/freezer when we recently moved house. In our old house was a 1987 fridge/freezer, still working perfectly. Fridge/freezers' life expectancy is long!

Pete came to service my zanussi oven…

Pete came to service my zanussi oven today and I cant thank him enough! He checked everything thoroughly and went above and beyond and even cleaned the surfaces afterwards. Very professional and friendly and took his time to do a thorough job! Thanks very much Pete for going the extra mile!

Ken 4189 - excellent engineer

Ken 4189 checked out our washer dryer today which was travelling out from its space between cabinets when spinning at the higher speeds. Although I had checked with a spirit level that the machine was level, Ken checked it thoroughly before deciding that it only needed balanced properly. He tested it thoroughly, put it back in its space and balanced it properly. I am a very happy customer.

Very very slow

Very very slow.
First it took a week for someone to turn up. Of course, they didn't have parts, although we had been specific about the problem and model details. A week later, after no contact I chased them and I got the strong impression they had forgotten about us. I was promised a call back the next morning. No call. I followed up and was told the earliest appointment was two weeks away! More than a month of waiting...

Bad customer experience

Chap came at 0715 to fix the washing machine, rang the bell several times to ensure he woke everybody up. I explained that one of the people living in our house works shift and finished work 2330 the night before. No apology. Didn’t seem to care. Just came in, spent five minutes looking at the machine. Then left. I’m furious. Shambolic.

Recently contacted service force to…

Recently contacted service force to repair my washing machine. 3 weeks later I am no further. Engineer came out said he said he would order parts 2 weeks later appointment was given to do the repair but on the day of the repair after me chasing the engineer who didn’t answer his phone, I contacted Service Force who told me the part had arrived damaged and they wouldn’t be coming. Avoid this company at all costs they are impossible to contact. I am now going out to buy a new washing machine. I will be wanting a refund on monies paid up front for a non service!

My dishwasher has been broken for 8…

My dishwasher has been broken for 8 weeks. We have had 5 Service Force engineers out and they still haven't repaired it. On two occasions, the engineer came without any parts and just "assessed" the problem and basically did nothing! There seems to be a major lack of communication between the office and engineers themselves. Each one has offered a different solution and supposedly ordered parts, when the next one turns up, they don't have the parts ordered by the previous engineer and we are back to square one. Service Force are sub-contractors to Domestic & General who our maintenance contract is with. D&G's policy states if our appliance can't be fixed we can have a new one. Service Force seems reluctant to make that call. We are left with no dishwasher and an endless stream of engineers who just seem to perpetuate the problem. When contacting either company, of course, it is the responsibility of the other.
