I had my watch serviced and had the glass and strap replaced too. There's a slightly clunky but effective process that is web based but importantly it's secure. The details advise of you of how to send your watch to be repaired or serviced and they send you a quote based on an inspection. You can either pay at that point or ask for the watch to be returned. The wait isn't unreasonable and they update you via your online account with them. I had my watch back after about 3 weeks and I'm impressed. They supply a year's guarantee. I'm sure there are other solutions to get a watch repaired and serviced but I was keen to go to Citizen direct.

Awful. A week after they had receieved my watch I had heard nothing. The lady who answered the phone was rude and just told me to log into my account (I didn't know I had one). I went to their website, logged in (had to do a 'lost pwd' to get in) and there was nothing there. Called again and was told I had to use a different website for repairs. Logged in, paid but no acknowledgement or receipt. When I logged in nxt day it said they were still waiting for payment so I emailed & go a reply that they had the payment, had started the repiar and it would take around 3 weeks to complete which is really slow. This company just doesn't communicate with customers. Very disappointing. I have about 10 Citizen watches but I'll be using an independant in future.
