This light is lightweight and convenient to carry around. It’s easy to position where you need it. Being rechargeable there is no need for a trailing cable either. Now I can see what I’m reading and sewing. Very pleased with it.

While I have a variety of SR lights this is my first Roam. It is excellent good quality light source,flexible and convenient. Delighted.

Compact and neat on my desk. The only thing I've noticed is that on the high setting it tends to flash after a few minutes. Then I turn it down

A light flexible and very useful light with good quality and clear beam which means it is perfect for reading Especially useful in a power cut! Which we had last week!

Really impressed with the light - definitely much clearer for reading than a normal lamp and doesn’t bother anyone else near me. The battery life is better than expected too.

We bought two black HD ROAM table lights three weeks ago. We use them as bedside lights because we like to read before going to sleep. Their rechargeable design with no cables means that they are very smart and stylish at each side of the bed. We recharge them them once a week. The light is perfect for reading. In addition they are easy to move should we require more light for a detailed task. Overall we are very pleased with them.

very flexible and easy to move around and looks good. But probably only good for reading larger print.; most useful as a spot not for reading as shown. The four settings are fiddly - the dimmest is so weak i cannot think what it would be useful for.

Fabulous product- I already have the floor lamp but this one enables me to have the perfect reading light where ever I want it in the house - love the fact that it is rechargeable - it is very light and therefore totally and easily portable - highly recommended

I do not find it as bright as the electric lamp that I have had for some time now and am very pleased with. However the convenience of a lamp that will be of use in a power cut has to be a great advantage.

That said, it is not so much the brightness that should make the biggest difference but the spectrum and the ability to set the light just as your eyes need it for the task in hand.
