After couple month and numerous attempts I finally redeemed $100 using my 2500reward points. Now I am trying to use it but the website doesn’t allow me to do so. Called customer service and was told my coupon can only used in US not in Canada. They are not willing to issue a replacement coupon and let me purchase through Canadian website. Ya what a joke! Being a royal customer for over 10years and get a response like this? ! Oh, we can return your points and try again next time. They just don’t care! Too bad, the coupon you redeemed not valid for Canada. We not gonna help you. Good luck with that!

This review is for 4 orders that I placed April 20 and 21st. 2 of the orders were gifts to other households - something nice and fun for quarantined nieces. I decided to pay for express shipping so they would get it by the weekend. Guess what , i received email that both orders shipped the next day and arrived the following day. What great customer service. So I thought I would order for myself. (1 day after the 2 original orders). I decided to forgo the express shipping charge. It said over 1 week and I thought OK hoping since the express delivered better than promised maybe.......... Anyway right after I ordered, I received email that my order would be delayed. Really ? Ok but i thought they should have longer lead times posted online then. I waited 1 week, no update. But they still sent me promo emails to order for a special 10% off. But since my order was stuck I couldn't take advantage and I was a bit disappointed that I lost out on this discount. Online chat help was not available anytime on the website. I called the customer service and waited a bit but that was ok. When I got on the line I explained that I was still waiting for my order and wondered when I would know and about missing out on the discount. She was great and credited me for 10% off all 3 orders! Unfortunately my order which was nonexpress would still be delayed for another 4-5 days. OK. She also said that they were so behind any new orders placed would be 3 weeks delivery. WOW. That is really behind. So I took my credit and the 10% was still on, and I ordered one more time (as my credit only good for 30 days). At least I know it will be awhile before I get it. Update my order has been shipped but is 3-4 more days estimate. I am happy with the 1st 2 orders and the customer service response. Too bad Sephora is so delayed..... customers would most likely want to buy Mothers day but I don't recommend as you won't get it in time, maybe if you pay extra.

I started using sephora back in the day when it was only in the states. Love the selection and free shipping as rouge member. I live in a remote area so online shopping is my reality. I'm often too lazy to do returns but with sephora it's so simple. You can auto generate shipping labels which is fantastic. Great store!
Literally the worst customer service…
Literally the worst customer service ever. They don’t listen to you and when they respond to Your emails they only answer half of your request and try to be finished with you as quick as possible. Also, trying to get a refund? Good luck.

The shipping time is good. The return policy is great; no fuss. In terms of return policy, Sephora is a role model for all company to copy from. It is very clear and explicit, leaving no grey zone.

This is one of my favorite beauty shops. There I can find any kinds of cosmetics and other useful things for care. One little thing that bothers me is prices. Everything is really expensive. So it is possible to buy something only on sales.
Major price hikes for Canadians
I love Sephora. I was ordering regularly VIB Rouge every year. Super fast shipping. However...lately I've noticed major price hikes on the Canadian site. One of the products I bought previously now costs 23% more! Now I'm being careful to check and compare prices before ordering anything. 23% price hikes are just excessive.
Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware - I would give a big fat ZERO stars if I could! Ordered an eyeliner and it was so dried out when I got it that it was totally unusable which tells me they have a quality control problem in clearing out old items past their expiry date. I also tried to use 100 of my beauty insider points on a lipstick but at the last minute, they cancelled it, not including it with my order. However, the lipstick was still showing as available days after I placed my order as a beauty insider selection. I phoned customer service because the lipstick was still showing as available and also was available for purchase for $25.00. The customer service rep. said he would send it out and was not sure what had happened. I received an additional email with a new order # for the missing item indicating that I would be emailed when the item shipped. I did not get any additional email and when I logged into my account to see what was going on, it showed that the order had been cancelled for the second time! I phoned again, and this time the customer service rep. says that the item is no longer available for purchase with my points. I indicated to her that clearly they were still in stock for purchase as I had just added one to my cart to prove it, but she says sorry they cannot ship the one that you pay cash for! Seriously, it is the same exact lipstick is it not!? This is not the first time I have had my beauty insider items cancelled for no good reason, but it will definitely be the last. I am done shopping with Sephora as they clearly do not value their customers and need to be held accountable. From now on I will shop at Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty Boutique as they have a better loyalty program (Optimum Points) and they always ship the sample or promotional items as promised. Lesson Learned!
Good service, mediocre app
I usually never have a problem ordering from Sephora. My products often arrive earlier than I was expecting and are packaged very well to prevent damage. My only complaint is that the app usually doesn't work properly.

Jumping through hoops for a refund I still don't have
Nov 11: I went into a store to return items, got my receipt and away I go.
Nov 23: called customer care because I still have not gotten the refund on my credit. He sees the transaction, told me to wait until Monday and if I don't get it, call and they'll manually refund me.
Nov 27: I gave them an extra day. No refund. I called and the first time I was hung up on - She didn't know what she was doing. I called again and told I had to call the bank because her supervisor said it looked like the refund went through. I told her the bank told me I had to call Sephora. She then said I had to call the store and then abruptly routed me to them without asking me. The store manager said it happens sometimes where refunds don't go through and she had to escalate it with head office. Apparently there's a different number they call to trace the money. I asked her if it's happened before with her and she said yes. I'm waiting.
In the meantime, I contact Sephora via twitter and they said they can't do anything about in-store transactions even after I supply proof i.e. partial bank statement and receipt. Sephora via email said the same thing.
That brings me to 3 phone reps, 2 email reps and a Twitter rep who all can't or won't help me because they're adamant I got my refund or they just can't.
I've spent a lot of money with them and been a customer for many years. This month alone I spent $300. They're too big to care about one person but I refuse to shop with them anymore. I "cashed" in my 1000 points for a reward today and I'm done.
