Fraudulent subscription extention
I bought a 6 month subscription half a year ago. The contents of the app are not at all bad but it was nowhere stated that there was only new content for 28 weeks and not the full 6 months. This alone is not the reason for my 1 star review. Without knowing and without warning I got charged a second time for a new 6 month subscription. I tried contacting the customer support, who told me that they don't do refunds if you don't cancel the subscription 48 hours before it ends (this is kind of hard if you never get a reminder, nor a heads up at the beginning of the first subscription). I have contacted PayPal for a refund claim and am willing to go even further. Please stay away from this fraudulent business and invest your money in real mental health professionals.

I didn't use sensa for the duration they recommended. There method does have a way of helping you understand what matters. Most importantly, when I requested to cancel my membership, they did it immediately and sent an email confirmation. This might not sound like a big deal but I have grown tired of companies making this difficult. I would come back to sensa should I feel the need.

When I feel depressed or anxious I sometimes forget that it's not how I feel all the time - in tracking my mood, Sensa has helped me see that these feelings aren't permanent - which has helped immensely.

unethical company
I found the app was not for me and stopped using after 3 days. They make canceling hard. Just don't sign up for the app at all. Also, not sure how secure your data is because there are lots of articles that say these healthcare companies share your personal information which is not cool.

Buyer Beware: Company Doesn’t Stand by Service and is Hurting for $60
Buyer Beware:
If a company doesn’t give refunds you should automatically RUN, not walk but RUN away. If they are hurting that bad for $60 (like I sure am given the state of the economy right now) that they can’t refund someone who doesn’t even remember signing up for their service and has definitely not used it in recent times. Then they must not stand by their product since it is bad. It must not have been very great if I didn’t use it.
I had apparently signed up for this on 11/06/2022 I do not remember doing this but I’m certain I did as it was linked to my PayPal account. I do not even know if I ever used the app. As my App Store never indicated I downloaded it.
I have no recollection of what this even is. I got an email from PayPal on 05/08/23 at 11:49 AM and emailed their “support” on 05/08/23 at 01:38 PM. Less than 2 hours of the notification of a charge I was definitely not expecting.
“As per our terms and conditions, the subscription cancellation request should be sent to hello(at)sensa.health at least 48 hours before the automatic renewal. Unfortunately, we have not received a request from your email address before the subscription is renewed.
I would like to inform you that our company follows a no refund policy unless the product is proven to be not as described or faulty.”
Like my guy, I wouldn’t even know if the product was faulty.
I do know it is apparently a “ mobile app that is constantly evolving in order to cater to all forms of mental health problems including anxiety, burnout, procrastination, depression, stress, and much more.” Per the representative who then immediately informed me that they were going to give me “much more” as promised.
That “much more” is the stress of randomly losing a tank of gas money out of my paycheck. The anxiety of my admittedly tight budget becoming even tighter.
For a company who is apparently being a mental health advocate it seems more like they are an advocate for screwing people over. It’s not like I waited 4 months and asked for a refund.
The moment I saw an unexpected payment I requested it not even knowing what it was. I could have just told my bank to refuse the payment (which I very well may need to do now). Instead I tried to give the company a chance. I would have happily even taken a prorated refund with a service charge for the cancellation. (Which for “one day of use” would come out to about 50 cents.)
They couldn’t already be happy with the $60 they got out of me for nothing the first time and they had to do it again and mock me?
Companies like this are the reasons why places like the EU have enforced stricter consumer protection rights.

Unauthorized Charge, Shady Business, Terrible Support
Update: after contacting the app on social media, writing this and several other reviews, and commenting on several of their social media posts to warn people, the app decided to give me a refund. I still don’t recommend this app.
I used this app for approximately three days. It just wasn’t for me. I deleted the app, and I believed that I had canceled the subscription. I checked my subscriptions in my apple account and it was not there.
But apparently, somewhere in the fine print, it indicates that you have to contact the company to cancel your subscription. I understood that I was out the initial $60 for the app, but I was not expecting to pay another $60 6 months later when it automatically renewed.
I haven’t had this app on my phone in the last 5.75 months, and certainly this company has the technological wherewithal to confirm that to be the case. So when I was charged another $59.97 for app renewal, I believe it to be an honest mistake. I contacted the company and explained that I no longer use this app, haven’t-had it on my phone and do not want to give them another $60 for an app I don’t use. They responded and said they have a no refund policy.
I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company. Really unacceptable business practice. And they’re in the business of mental health???

I'm new to Sensa but I love how direct and easy to follow it is. It also truly seems tailored to me and my quiz results -- it's not a bunch of generic lessons but very targeted to what my concerns are.

If I were you I will stay far away from this app. I never even knew they were billing me because they never sent an email reminder. I actually only found out when I was going through my bank statement. When I found out I contacted them to let them know that I can't afford it and have not been using their app and I have not benefitted from it at all. They told me I will not be refunded. At this time of financial difficulty, this is the worst thing to happen because the app is not cheap.
I told them this, to only be ignored. I will never recommend this app to anyone, I never used it and will never use it.

Company fraudulently bills users who have cancelled subscriptions through Apple. Claims they do not issue refunds and after filing a report with the FTC they say they will issue full refund but that it won’t go through.
THIS APP SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM ALL PLATFORMS. ITS A SCAM.
Reply to Sensa: I am using a separate email for TrustPilot and it’s not necessary to provide you with additional contact information. The representative from your customer support team never provided an issue ID number that you ask for at any point during the 4-5 communications I’ve received from your representative… an additional facet to your scam: ask for a data point validation that is impossible for the ex-customer to provide ensuring unfavorable reviews are removed from public forums.
If this review is removed due to wishes by Sensa it should be viewed as an act of censorship. I have recorded screen shots of all interactions for documentation in dealing with this shady organization.

Updated *Only 28 days of content on a 6 month plan!
*I have since been contacted by support and am satisfied with the response. Thank you to Goda who sorted this for me :)'
I subscribed to a 6 month plan. The 'tailored plan' stops after 28 days and focuses only on one main subject. After that, the app just becomes a log of mood and activities which is not what I was looking for. I contacted customer service who took several days to respond till I was asked for 'screenshots of the issue'. They then didn't bother to get back to me. When asked for a refund they refused. I don't recommend using this app. Poor customer service and not enough content to justify the price for 6 months. Hugely disappointed.

Not helpful
I didn't find this app to be helpful personally. I ended up not using it and missed when it was going to renew. I saw the charge on my credit card, contacted the company right away and they were only willing to refund 50% of the $80 charge. I know it's my fault for missing the renewal notice by 2 days, but it makes me wonder how much money they make from those of us with ADHD who don't benefit from the app and because of ADHD miss the window to cancel their subscription. How many ADHD people lose money every year because they forget about stuff they've subscribed to?🤦🏼♀️
UPDATE: After leaving this review, I now have another charge of $41.40 to my credit card. They did not reverse the original $83.88. I'm so frustrated!

This app is decent and I initially used it regularly and it really did help me to get started on my journey through my diagnosis.
However, as with most ADHD humans, what was once shiny and new, became old and boring really fast!
I didn’t utilize it the way I’m sure it was intended, and so I didn’t renew my subscription!
The customer service department gets an A+ from me for fast replies when it came to billing troubles, so I liked that.

I wish I read these reviews first
I wish I read these reviews first. I paid for the first 6 months and in the 10 days that I’ve had the app - I receive nothing but “Uh-Oh” error messages and the app does not work. I have two different phones and the app doesn’t work on either. I, immediately, turned in a help request and have not heard back. All of this is compounding my anxiety & depression. Since it is on Sensa that their app isn’t working and they are not working with me to resolve the issue (Im an IT tech by profession) - I asked for a refund. NO REFUNDS. But they offered a 50% refund and I agreed to it. Now I'm not hearing back from anyone at all and no 50% refund. Subscriber BEWARE.

So far so good
I am just starting out but so far I'm enjoying it. I think the information is basic but helps remind me of what I'm working with. I like the mindfulness exercises. I like that it has me slow down and helps me focus on the task at hand.

I love
I love, love, love that I am asked to rate my mood several times each day. As with most people, my mood shifts during the day, so reporting these keeps my mood tracker accurate.
The app is sensitive to these mood shifts and responds appropriately by asking me to do certain things due to my specific mood. I like that it is time-sensitive and addresses the need in real-time.
The tasks are not time-wasters, nor are they time hogs. You can complete almost everything you are asked to do in less than 15 minutes.
So far, I have found this app useful for me.

Mindfulness
This app has great Mindfulness exercises. It reminds me to slow down and listen to my breath so that I can focus on my tasks better. The daily mood tracker is good for my own accountability records. Having a button for "quick relief" is really nice since that is often only what I have time for. Overall it's a good app to have when you need it.

I don't trust apps that push you to pay for the services to see your quiz results and don't give any free trial to test and see for yourself if it works for you... just playing on people's emotions and impulsivity. Looks like they themselves dont trust in their own product and that people would find it useful and continue using it after free trial. Now they just spam my mailbox
