absolutely rubbish to use
absolutely rubbish to use and heres why:
1. absurdly specific questions
2. hard to navigate as a first timer
3. really unfunny gifs/animations
4. repetitive popups about promoting premium and its "benefits"

I like Seneca as it helps me to learn…
I like Seneca as it helps me to learn and get better at subjects I struggle with like maths. But sometimes while I do assignments on Seneca, the system automatically skips questions so I can’t answer them and to the point where it once skipped a whole assignment and I just watched the screen in disbelief.

seneca as a concept sucks
seneca as a concept fails immediately. Having to input specific phrases in a word gap doesn't teach the student anything except what terminology seneca prefers. Not to mention being bombarded by bloat whenever you finish a question, when you could just look up past papers and get no-nonsense revision materials there

senca is only good bc the other homeworks *coughs* sparx maths (witch you can read my review on) is the bottom of the barrel its still bad and full of ai slop and cringy gifs but its the only thing keeping my sanity

this is so bad stop showing corny memes and actually this is mostly ai generated slop questions that dont help me learn, i just look at the "notes" and it tells me word for word the answer. can't learn anything, waste of time don't use unless you want to waste your time looking at outdated memes!!

I paid £107.88 for the annual premium package on 28 Oct 2025 for my daughter's boost learning but App stopped last Friday 5th December and kept redirecting you for buying another package and practically not allowed my daughter to access the package , which already I bought it for her , due to weekend as don't have any customer service so I emailed them and so far no any response yet then searching on interne to find any phone number then called them and no response , apparently they are not bothered , I wish that I could give them 0 stares , how so are they irresponsible for students futuer

I'm really sorry you haven't had a great experience with our support team. We don't usually work weekends but as it's so busy currently we were working this weekend on emails and every email was replied to by the end of Sunday. I've had a look for an account with your name and can't find any communications with your username. I found a potential matching user with 3 linked child accounts of the same name, one school email address with Premium that hasn't been logged in to and one personal email without Premium that has been logged in to so it's possible your child is just logging in to the incorrect account. Could you please reach out to learnmore@seneca.io so we can track down what has happened here and make sure your child has access to the correct account?

Absolutely dreadful
Absolutely dreadful! Took money without any notification after my child had done his GCSE’s so didn’t need this anymore. I emailed to ask for a refund but Seneca ignored my email. A year later they tried to access my funds again but thankfully the bank account had been closed down otherwise they would have taken another couple of hundreds of pounds. Have been chasing for over a year now!! Absolutely despicable. Avoid at all costs

I've taken a look and can see from your first email in November that you signed up to our auto renewal package for a student account which was last in use October 2025, the auto renewal wasn't cancelled so it renewed in 2024 and tried again in 2025.
Following our phone conversation and emails, the refund was processed within 24 hours.
If the refund did not arrive, could you please let us know so we can take another look for you and get this resolved?

Excessively Recommend.
I am a current student in year eight, and use Seneca for science, and I must approve of this website, providing amazing learning perspectives (unlike Sparx).
Here is what I love though: I am never stressed or agitated when I am set homework on Seneca, in fact, I entirely enjoy it. There is no stress, get the question wrong, reveal the answer and you learn. Additionally, instead of good work and correctly answering questions being ignored, you sometimes get to play a game where you have to guess where you store your memory is, which is an utterly amazing addition.
Furthermore, instead of Sparx, the site assists with learning and shows you where your wrong, they have a class leader board system so you can try to get to the top and everything, funny images and memes on the side of questions to raise the attitude and more.
Overall, I highly recommend this website for everyone, and sincerely concern that they should set this website as a main learning app over the whole of the U.K.
