I placed an order and I was concerned to see some of the reviews so contacted the company to cancel.
After speaking to a really helpful lady I decided to go ahead and I am so glad I did. The cakes looked and tasted amazing especially the ones with the toffee topping. I had a great experience after all and will use the company again.

I placed an order and my card was charged 3 days prior to delivery date. They apparently only ship in the area on Mon and Fri. Well come Monday there was no delivery, no tracking provided, no communication about the order being delayed...nothing! The took my money and did not follow through on their part of the deal to deliver the goods I paid for nor did they even have the common courtesy to advise me the order would be delayed another 4 days since the next shipping day in that area is another 4 days. The also did not respond to my email...only an automated reply saying they need 24 hrs to reply. For a business that is TIME SENSITIVE these guys are clueless! How arrogant of a company to do this to customers when they know full well most of their orders are time sensitive because they are gifts for celebrations and therefore not delivering on the promised date defeats the whole purpose for purchasing that gift. Not even gonna waste my time dealing with a company like this....opening a chargeback with my credit card and going to demand my money back. HORRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL TO THEIR CUSOMERS. People waited at home all day for this delivery and a 9yr old girl was very disapointed when there was no delivery...SHAME ON YOU SEND THEM CUPCAKES!

I ordered the little cupcakes for my daughter's 21st and was really worried about them not arriving on time and being little bite sized. Delivery was as confirmed on order, cupcakes arrived beautifully packaged and were a perfect size and of course best of all they were delicious.

Absolutely disgusting cupcakes! One star is too much! After ordering from this company the cupcakes I received were stale. The icing unprofessional. A 5 year old could make better ones. I contacted the company who asked for them to be returned even though they said they had ones to test from that date. The cakes were already in the bin. I sent them photos too. I told the company about this and was ignored after that. A waste of nearly £50. Ruined my daughter’s birthday.
I feel they totally rip off their customers and the customer service is shocking and unacceptable. They should be shut down. Just wish I’d came on and read the reviews on here. I did leave a review on their website but it wasn’t published. So seems like they are vetting their reviews.

Easy to use website, was unsure how it worked so used the chat and all was explained. Cupcakes arrived on time and I was kept upto date with my delivery review. Very happy and my friend absolutely loved them.

Terrible company - I wish I had read the reviews before using them! I ordered well within the delivery time for a family members birthday. Cupcakes arrived 2 days late and were very poor quality. I have contact customer services a number of times to request a refund and they are ignoring all communication. Disgraceful service!

The pictures on their website looks lovely - and when the cupcakes arrived at the house they looked terrible - looked like they were in the car for days as the icing had melted and there was no shape to the cupcakes - it was an embarresment - I sent them a picture of what was received and complained - they have only to explain why the delivery was earlier - I will never use them again.

AWFUL! Paid for Saturday delivery and didn’t turn up until Monday afternoon meaning it was far too late to use for our event. Not only that but the actual cupcakes tasted stale and just overall rubbish. I’ve emailed them and they’ve never bothered getting back to me just terrible customer service.

Dreadful company - do not use- ordered cakes on 25/11/22 to be delivered on 29/11/22. This was for my daughter’s birthday. Cakes didn’t arrive, called on 30/11/22 to find out why. Was told an investigation had to be done. 2 days later an email was sent with photo as proof of delivery. The photo was taken in the delivery van - hardly proof of delivery. On 30/11/22 I requested a refund ……it is now 23/12/22 & still no refund. I have called 5 times & still not resolved. Poor customer service- They should have offered an immediate refund & as a gesture of good will delivered new cakes. This review would have been so different. Would have given 0 stars if possible

I ordered cupcakes on Thursday for next day delivery. The cakes were intended to cheer up our grandson who has COVID-19. As of Saturday they had not arrived. VERY DISSAPOINTED

I used this company to send cupcakes for my Grandson's birthday. First they couldn't deliver on the right day, which I found out after the payment, then on delivery day, the cakes arrived smashed up and were an absolute mess. I contacted their customer service 4 times and I've never heard from them. No apology, no nothing. Eould absolutely not recommend this awful business.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering- do not use this company. I ordered 12 chocolate covered strawberries for a family member heading in for a serious operation. The strawberries arrived completely broken and squashed, with juice leaking from the package. They were inedible.

I tried to call customer services but the line was closed despite it being in opening hours. I logged a ticket with customer services- and I’ve heard absolutely nothing- please do not give them your money- they really don’t seem to care about their customers.

Terrible! I order personalised ones to arrive in 3 days time. They call me and left a message saying they haven't received the photo, replied straightaway and send them the picture to the number they provided, not even time to call them they send an email saying they have been dispatched and can't be ammended. They arrived 3 days earlier and without the photo! Terrible service! Would not recommend or use again! Whish I had read more reviews before ordering!

Ordered vanilla cupcakes to arrive on Tuesday 4th May, they arrived on Saturday 1st of May, apparently due to the bank holiday. Website states that they should be fine for 5 days.
We tried them on Wednesday 5th May, unfortunately they were quite stodgy and dry and my daughter and other friends didn’t finish theirs.
Ended up throwing them away.
Disappointed to say the least.

Please avoid and do not order from these. They ask you to select a delivery date and it was a child's birthday and they never turned up. Go to their Facebook page and see the comments. I wish I had or I wouldn't ever have ordered. Paid a lot for a crap service! I am contacting the consumer association about them also. Seems to be a scam.

Ordered cupcakes for mothers day,stale and inedible.
Customer service number always closed.
Emailed them they sayI have to send cupcakes back at my expense, I explained I cannot as I am isolating.

Spent a lot extra to have birthday cupcakes delivered at the weekend only for them to arrive on the wrong day - even though all emails confirmed delivery for the correct date. I have tried to contact the company and after two weeks there has been no response. They do not reply to customer service emails and there is no option to leave a voicemail (the phone is never picked up). Don't do it. They are other businesses actually worthy of your money and time. Worst experience and customer service ever.

Ordered cupcakes for my sons birthday on the 9th Feb. They arrived in a large box with a smaller one inside. I opened the cupcake box to find all were squashed because the icing was to tall for the box they had been put in..to say l was disappointed was an understatement I contacted customer service straight away. I had a reply saying sorry and did I want a replacement to which I did respond but it’s now the 12th Feb and I still haven’t had anymore communication. Even though I have sent several chase up emails! For the cost they charge for a substandard product it’s disgusting & their lack of customer service doesn’t warrant people spending money with them! Shop elsewhere. *It’s a shame I couldn’t share the photos!*

The cupcakes were edible, but given the the cost of cupcakes and delivery, the packaging and actual delivery experience were miserable at best.

My order was delivered in a large, brown, moving-type box with a message to keep upright printed on the box... then it was left for my daughter on a wet, rainy day, outside her apartment building on its ...side! It was left there for anyone wandering by to pick up and no one even rang the door bell or notified me or her that the parcel had been delivered so I could at least let her know. It was left curbside on its side for 3-4 hours before we managed to locate it. It was not pretty and yes, for that kind of price, I expected a doorbell to be rung, I expected a box of cupcakes to be delivered right side up, and I expected it to look marginally prettier than a large and ugly, brown, moving-type box.

This was sent as a gift, a surprise. It ended up as a rather ugly experience and the surprise was ruined as I had to send my daughter searching for it. After that delivery experience, I wouldn't be able to justify using or recommending this shop in future.

So embarassing. I ordered 3 lots of cakes for our daughters for a zoom call. Two lots, from other companies look beautiful and they were showing them off. Then the 4 from sendthemcupcaked were shown and I was mortified. They had icing splodged on top that looked like a 5 year old did it and it didn't even cover the top of the cakes. They were also the most expensive of the three. To be fair they did send another lot for me when I complained, but they were no better. I would not risk using them ever again as I was literally so embarrased. They don't allow pictures so I have shown the cake as my profile picture!
