Agreed £350 before collection

Agreed £350 before collection, then offered only £70 afterwards

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with SellYourCar.info.

I initially received a written valuation of £550. I clearly explained that the vehicle had a clutch problem, and after discussing the condition of the car we agreed a final price of £350 before collection.

The recovery driver then collected the vehicle. The engine was running and the vehicle was moved when it was loaded onto the recovery truck.

After the vehicle had already been taken away, I was contacted and told that the engine was seized. I disputed this because the engine had been running at the time of collection.

I was then offered only £70 instead of the agreed £350. I did not accept this.

I have kept the original £550 valuation, messages and collection details as evidence.

I have asked the company either to honour the agreed £350 or return my vehicle at no cost.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone dealing with this company gets the final price confirmed in writing and takes a video of the vehicle immediately before collection.

I will update this review if the company resolves the matter properly.
