I purchased a used acoustic guitar online, which is always a risky procedure when you are relying on the sellers description and a few grainy pics! I am absolutely delighted with a Taylor 214ce I bought recently from Sellusyourguitar.
The whole process has been a really good experience. That means:
- The guitars have a very detailed set of photos;
- Any nicks and dents are highlighted - in my case, they pointed out things I can barely see, so kudos for that;
- Questions are answered quickly and fully, and action taken where requested;
- A very fair price - the guitar is hard to distinguish from new;
- Full communication on when the guitar would be shipped, with a tracking id, of course;
- Fast delivery;
- Solid, protective packaging;
- Questions followed up on after delivery;

Good communication, packaging and collection - very quick turnaround and payment. I could have held out for more money but wanted a quick all inclusive deal without any hassle. Sell Us Your Guitar initially offered a lower price but we’re happy to match a competitor without any hassle.
Secure packaging provided with lots of bubble wrap and parcel tape which made packing easy and gave great peace of mind about sending a valuable instrument through the post (Parcelforce).
Definitely recommend these guys and would use again if required (although now unlikely as I’m down to just one guitar which is a keeper!

Just went to their warehouse in Ashton today, bought a lovely Epiphone custom in ebony and all the staff were helpful, quick-to-the-point and let me have a try before I buy (which I always feel anxious to do!)

Given the price point of my purchase, I was really not expecting a 26 year old budget Les Paul play and function so well. The set up by their luthier is fantastic. Intonated perfectly after a tune up. No buzz and no crackly electrics. saved me ££'s on a set up.

My son wanted a 7 string for his birthday and we went to Sellyourguitar. The staff were friendly and helpful, setting up an amp and allowing us to try basic to fairly expensive used guitars - some with wear, others immaculate. In the end we found the best combination of playability, sound, appearance and price. With only a gentle bit of haggling we were given a useful discount. The best thing about today was the low pressure sales where we were left to explore different guitars at our own rate. Highly recommended.

Just a quick review to say thanks for the whole process of buying this Jem. I've been looking for a black 505 for a while and I only ever see white ones come up. Having found this on eBay and made an offer, it was very courteous of SUYG to point me to buying direct from their website to get a better price. The guitar was well packed, detuned for shipping and arrived in a day. Awesome service.

Aleks and the rest of the staff couldn’t have been more informative, knowledgeable, professional or helpful. Gave me as much time as I needed to try out the guitars. Gave me a good price for my trade in. I went in looking for a new electro-acoustic and ended up leaving with two at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Tried to do a part exchange on a guitar I was interested in. The trade in offer was good but they would only do it if I dropped the guitar off into their store. They didn't bother to find out where I lived...some 250 miles away. When I pointed this out they said they'd do their usual shipping arrangement but would charge me £55 for packaging and shipping!!! Mmm I don't think so. So moral is be wary if you want to do a PEX.

Couldn't ask for better service from start to finish. I sold my guitar with SUYG on commission and their communication and transparency was perfect every step of the way. This was the most hassle free experience I've had when selling any musical instrument and I believe I received more money for my guitar than I if I had chosen to sell privately on Reverb or eBay.

Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had with buying a guitar, I’ve purchased a lot of guitars in my time online and in stores and I must say this was so pleasant and easy!
I saw the LTD M-1000 I’ve wanted for sometime being sold on eBay through sell us your guitar, I contacted the store directly and spoke for a long time with Tom who was an absolute legend, he answered all my questions and was so helpful and kind!
Before I knew it, I’d bought the guitar and it was with me in a few days In perfect condition!
The stores guitar tech Aleks even set the guitar up in my preferred tuning of drop C#.
I cannot recommend these guys enough!
I’m not someone who usually writes reviews but this was truly deserving, wonderful staff!

Superb service provided from start to finish. Very reasonable price offered for instrument, which included a packing set (box, tap, measuring tape etc). Payment is made directly into your bank account!
