I was diagnosed early in the disease process thanks to SelfDecode
Always coming out with new genetic tests. A great way to stay on top of your health care! This app actually prompted me to get tested for rheumatoid arthritis, which I had suspected. Sure enough... diagnosed with RA and sjogrens ! I feel fortunate I was diagnosed early in the disease process! Thank you SelfDecode!

Ground-Breaking Company...
I have been a SelfDecode subscriber for several years now. I have had to request help on various occasions as I am not totally tech-savvy, and as far as I am concerned, their customer service is second to none, especially during the transition from the 1.0 version to the 2.0, and of course, there are always bugs to work out during these transitions, but they have always been very helpful and responsive. Their expanding team of experts is extremely knowledgeable and their credentials are impressive. I truly believe in this company's mission, and I believe they will be the future of Wellness and disease prevention. After all, many disorders, not the least of which is cancer, are much easier to prevent than they are to cure. As soon as people realize this, we will have a much healthier population, and much less money will have to go to disease care.

Not just a DNA test!!
Bought a SelfDecode test and subscription a couple of months ago and I'm so glad I did. Couldn't wait for my results to come in, and now that they have, I find myself scrolling through the health reports on the app very frequently. I went through thyroid cancer last year and I was very curious to see whether it would pick up my thyroid problems - whether it was something in my genes or in my environment. Needless to say it did!! I really love the meal plan builder as well. I lead a healthy lifestyle (eat healthy, exercise, don't smoke, don't drink) but I really wanted to see what changes I could make to take it to the next level. I spent like a weekend building my meal planner and going through those recipes and macros breakdown that was just tailored to my body. I was recommended a Mediterranean diet, which is convenient since I live in Greece, so it should be easy to follow! Also, really understood why I wasn't seeing the desired changes on my body in terms of working out. I used to do a lot of weights but it turns out I'm better at endurance sports than muscle building and strength, so now I've incorporated other types that were recommended to me like running, cycling, swimming and I can definitely say I've seen some changes in the last month!

Good health resource
SelfDecode is a very helpful resource for people like me with chronic health issues that have been difficult to diagnose. I appreciate that the reports are easy to read, but give you the chance to dive deeper by clicking through the gene reports and linked research articles. It’s been so interesting learning more about why certain foods, lifestyle changes, supplements, etc work for me (or not!) and getting new ideas to try! I also appreciate that the company doesn’t sell my personal or health information like some other DNA companies.

SelfDecode is leading a revolution in "self-care" and healthcare. They provide a platform for analyzing and meshing an individual's DNA analysis and lab work, what those results might mean or imply (probabilistically) and then provide recommendations for health based on verified scientific studies.
The web site presentation format is excellent, usability is very high. There is a massive amount of data provided, so there is a short learning period.
But if you have a "selfcare" mindset, and some willingness to dig for answers and ideas, I highly recommend SelfDecode. IMO the SelfDecode approach should be the standard of care now for general medicine.
From what I have seen, SelfDecode is committed to continual improvement, and a high level of customer care. I have sent several questions to customer service and they were answered courteously and promptly.
This is a top-notch company I highly recommend.

As simple or as detailed as you want
I love how user friendly this platform is. It takes complex concepts and makes them easy to understand and apply. I was able to better understand how to approach a variety of issues from fatigue to hormone balance and much more based on my genetics! I also love that you can upload labs and take assessments to get the whole picture.

Misleading auto-renewal notice email
They sent me an email giving me notice of my subscription renewal with a misleading subject line starting with “Congrats! …”. I goes without saying that I didn’t open it. Just got charged for 1 year subscription and when I told them about it on the very day they charged me they declined to refund me. Bad customer service!
