Not a great experience
The order process as ever is pretty quick. Orders paid for via the Amazon pay option become a tracking nightmare however as you become spammed with emails that don't easily tie to the item you purchased. This caused me great pain as Id ordered half a dozen or so items and couldnt track what was what. Further to this, none of these appeared in my order history on Scan and I was also told they wouldn't do, which is poor. After a spend of well over £1000, I wanted to return a power supply (that has a youtube video of one burning out!) and replace it with an upgraded one, but they refused to cover the return carriage. Given the spend and the fact Scan is one of the few sites to actually charge the consumer for delivery at all, this was a bit of a let down. As a result I tried to cancel other orders (the items where available cheaper elsewhere) and, well, you cant, you have to e-mail separately. This became a chore as well and one item over 24 hours later had still not been cancelled and was marked as dispatched.
Customer service wasn't particularly helpful, so between trying to wade through a pile of e-mails that are hard to catalogue (I've had over 30 emails), being unable to quickly and easily amend orders, no free delivery available on anything anywhere and becoming frustrated by the entire experience, I wont be using them again or recommending them to anyone else in the short term. For a single order purchase, they're perfectly fine, but beyond this I've found them to be unhelpful and the entire process a complete headache. I'd also advise anyone to stay well away from their cheap King PC power supplies, they run VERY hot and are potentially dangerous, and trying to return one is likely to be met with contempt.
