This is my 3rd time trying to order.....your site needs serious updating. You cannot look at checks and go back to where you were. It restarts the whole dame page. Then if you find what you like the order form is a thin strip on the right margin of the page.
Forget it. After several trys ,I'm giving up on you!!!

It is Feb 13th and customer service says it's schedule Feb 29th. Two months to get one single box or checks! We get products from China faster than this. LOST A CUSTOMER!

Checks IN THE MAIL SUCKS
Checks ordered May 10, 2023. As of today May 30, 15 business days later, no checks!!! This has caused us a great deal of issues for our business. Called the company and they said they were shipped. They have been back and forth between sumner Washington and Salt Lake City several times according to the DHL tracking. They were suppose to be handed off to USPS and the post office NEVER got them. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE OF BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

**UPDATE 3-6-23** I placed an order for checks from “Checks in the Mail” on the morning of February 20th of this year. The process was $27 and change and shipment was processed in Grand Prairie, TX on the 23rd, leaving Grand Prairie on the 24th. Today, 10 days later there is no tracking from DHL and Checks in the Mail said that the shipment shows still in Texas.
Now the tracking “Link” originally provided by “Checks in the Mail” did not work and after emailing them twice I did receive a working tracking link. Needing my checks now and not sometime down the road, AND not knowing where they are is quite concerning. Since it is now 10 days since thew checks shipped and no one knows where they are I contacted my bank and put a freeze on my account… that could cost me $20 to $24… (it has not shown up yet in my account).
After finally speaking with a representative from “Checks in the Mail” I informed him that this is unacceptable and I will no longer doing business with the company. PLEASE BEWARE!
STILL WAITING FOR MY CHECKS
I rarely write chevks anymore but still need them so I ordered checks from this company. First of all, it took a very long time for my checks to even get processed in their system. I paid extra for the fraud protection, which is a requirement if you want to know where they are at any point. Now they're showing shipped, which has shown for over a week now. Where the hell are my checks? I didn't pay for the expensive shipping so they said I can't find out where they are. My personal info is floating around out there, and it doesn't look like I'll ever get them! Do yourself a favor and go with another company.

I will never deal with them again
I will never deal with them again. I placed order in rush plant & rush ship. Got email order on hold pending me sending statement or them being able to call my bank to verify my account. I attached statement and my drivers license to email like they ask. Blanking out money values. Got email back next day at 2:35pm saying they did not receive my information verification. Called got rep who said my statement did not have account number. After round & round I ask for supervisor. The supervisor said ok I see statement but your license is blurred. I said I'm looking at attachment and indeed I can read it. She told me same thing other reps told me since I never ordered from them I need everything verified. Would I call my bank & give permission for them to talk to my bank. I put supervisor on hold called my bank who said they have never heard of such a process for ordering checks. They bank said since I had appt to go in on Monday they will meet all my rush check needs free of charge. ($42 was checks in mail price) the bank rep was concerned over what was being ask of me & said we will talk about it on my Monday visit. I have ordered a while back from this company and no issues. They said since I never ordered before & expedient service they were looking out for my security. Lol. But where at what point do you stop playing stupid with the customer? Sorry but like a lot of customer service based jobs today it's getting real bad. I did customer service for one company 25 years so I know good customer service. Don't use this company I will never again.
deposit slips
I ordered deposit slips and they had the routing number wrong. Sent them an email giving them the correct number. Again they sent me the wrong routing number. I just sent them another email with a picture of my check showing them the correct number. If they cannot look and copy the numbers on my checks I will ask for a refund. This is really bad. No I will not recommend them.
Checks never arrived
Update - Curious about the $10 "processing fee", I started a test order and the fee didn't appear anywhere during the checkout process all the way up to clicking to complete the order. It seems that this fee is added after you complete the order and just placed on the email invoice sent to you. Also, based on other messages on this site the fee varies wildly from one person's order to the next. This fee and how it is applied seems scammy - is that even legal???
Original post - Over 3 weeks later my checks have not arrived. Their advertised free shipping does not have any tracking information. Now I have to wonder if my checks are lost or stolen - or more likely based on others feedback on this site if they ever printed my checks to begin with. I also have to go to my bank to block that series of checks in case they ended up in the wrong hands. Also beware this company adds a $10.80 "processing fee" on your order that I didn't initially catch during checkout. Thank God they didn't send my checks so now when I do a charge back on my credit card I can get that insulting fee refunded as well.
Not the company I remember
I used to order from them in the '90s. Recently I opened a business checking account and didn't want to pay my bank's price for new checks. Ordered from CITM and the checks look like they came off of a dot-matrix printer from the '80s. Now I have to decide whether to scrap them and order new ones from my bank. I would never order from CITM again.
Disappointed long-time customer
I have ordered checks from Checks in the Mail for years and have always been happy with them. I’m sorry to say my latest experience was not so positive. I ordered checks and a checkbook cover in early March. The checks (which they actually had to print) came right away. A month later the checkbook cover had still not arrived so I called customer service and was told another one would be sent out. A month after that (two months after the initial order) it still had not arrived so I called again and cancelled the order and asked to be credited the purchase amount. Then I ordered an identical one from Amazon and had it in my hands two days later. I have no clue why a custom order would arrive within a week but they couldn’t get a stock item to me in two months after two attempts.

I wish that I could give them a -5 rating! I cancelled my order 2 minutes after placing it but they ignored my cancellation request, and all of my subsequent attempts to contact them, then let enough time go by so that it was "too late" to do anything. Their 800 number is a joke - was on hold for 30+ minutes before giving up. This company is dishonest - under no circumstances use this vendor!
SCAM-Checks Printed Wrong-No Correction or Refund
Checks In The Mail printed my bank account number wrong on my order so I emailed them asking for help to resolve the problem. After 3 days without a response I called them. I explained to the woman that answered that my checks were printed with the wrong account number and she insisted I entered the wrong bank account number. I checked, and checked again and had my daughter check all of my information to insure my information was correct before placing my order so I know my information was correct. The customer service rep insisted I entered the wrong information and said it was my fault my account number was printed wrong, she was very rude, talked over me and would not listen to me. So now I have a box full of checks that I can’t use and they have my money! Be careful using this company they are scammers!!!

When I checked the status of the order online on March 25, it was "Unavailable". When I called customer service on March 26, I was told that my order was cancelled.

Placed a minimal order on Oct. 5, I was weary because of their super low prices. And I was right to be. Received ONE email relating that my order was about to go into production. One week later, no checks, no update to order, a LOT of promotional emails, though. Finally sent email asking where my checks were and why I haven't received any notification as to if they have been shipped. Response: "Kindly wait for your order to arrive." What the F!!! is that? Caveat Emptor. Especially for shady, great-deal inducing companies. Pay the money. Go established.

I've always ordered from checksinthemail.com, but this time I wanted to shop around with other companies, to compare products, pricing, shipping times etc. I ended up coming back to checksinthemail because they have the best to offer. Ordering is easy. They had saved my information from a previous order (years ago!) so all it took was a few clicks to order. I used a promo code for an extra discount and I was most impressed that, even though I chose the free shipping option (estimated at 2 weeks) the checks arrived 4 days later. The checks are great quality. Super happy!
