Poor delivery and full of excuses!

I have had an EV certificate on order for over a month. Every-time I ring I get no answers on when they are likely to deliver.

Will not use again!

If you look at all the positive feedback they are by people with a single reviews with similar content! Not sure they are real!

I will be cancelling my order!

In response to Sectigo response, I only received a certificate when I threatened to cancel. It also took you ten days to respond

45 days of silence

Ordered a code signing certificate 45 days ago. Provided all the information and documents required. Since 45 days their page says "Certificate Issuance / In progress..."

No reply to tickets, no news, no indication how long this still takes, no refund. Proceeding with alternative company.

Cannot recommend.

Sectigo Support Is There To Help

Sectigo support always takes the time to not only figure out what is wrong but explain how to fix it. I never feel judged either or rushed. I do certificate renewals once a year and they have always been able to solve any issues I run into. While I'm not an expert on certificates, they are.

Unable to renew a certificate, no refund, no support. Beware

I bought a one year code signing certificate in 2022 from this company, it took about 2 months of backwards and forwards to get the certificate validated.
This year they send me a notice of renewal, I though that it would be easy this time, boy was I wrong.
Support emails are not attended to, you just get auto responses, eventually when you speak to what is probably a real person, they cannot providee any help.
Eventually they just rejected the validation, with no explanation as to what their problem was.
Now I am trying get get a refund, and they claim they have paid it, but nothing happens.
Now they do not even respond to any support emails anymore.
Very costly and frustrating. I started this process in May, there is still no resolution.

Despite the reply below, it is now almost AUGUST and there is still no resolution.
Sectigo tries to smear off responsibility on the reseller. The reseller does not reply to any form of communication.
The reseller is ksoftware.net, which has a string of bad reviews.
It now turns out that I was sold a type of certificate that does not even exist anymore, and now I am out of pocket because of this abysmal service.
BEWARE SECTIGO AND BEWARE KSOFTWARE.

Code signing validation takes way to long. Stuck in validation queue for weeks. Despite several chats and calls to technical support along with some assurances things still do not move. Cancelled order.

Difficult to work with and limited support

I purchased an EV code signing certificate for my company. Not only was the sign-up process miserable by going back and forth over several weeks, but their support team also takes FOREVER to get back to you with any help. Submitting a support ticket online does not guarantee that they have received your request for assistance. The website itself is completely outdated and not intuitive to use. Overall, it is a very frustrating experience to work with them and I would not recommend purchasing from them.

Support is the bottom

The support did not help to solve my problem, the instruction was reset and the chat was immediately closed without waiting for the result of the verification according to the instruction. It's a shame to give such support here even 1 star!!!

Sectigo seems to be a Zombie Company run by Bots.

Every year I get a notification that it is time to renew -- with the promise of a discount which I can never figure out how to get. And after I place and order, the renewal emails keep coming.

Then, every year my validation experience is the same -- the company name cannot be verified. Yet the name is exactly as registered -- and exactly the same as the year before.

When I try to get support, all I get is a chat bot that doesn't even know my order number. Eventually, after going around and around, it says it's transferring me to a live agent -- before hanging up on me.

And when the dongle finally get sent to me, it is just a dongle thrown into an envelople along with a tatty sheet of instructions telling me how to track the shipment containing the instructions.

This service is not cheap, yet it's overly automated, riddled with bugs, none of which ever get fixed. It's like a zombie company run by bots.

Horrible horrible customer experience

Horrible horrible customer experience. Every year the same when we have to extend our SSL certificate. Every year calls and emails and hours are invested just to get our own SSL certificate extended. Customer support that cant even speak clearly or correctly.
