Terrible experience for a fabric store
Terrible experience for a fabric store. They aren't open to in store shopping, so you can't feel the fabric or look at colors. They've made me stand outside in the pouring rain holding yards and yards of boat canvas from my boat that I was trying to color match. Unfortunately it's the only store in the area that has marine-grade fabric supplies so they have a captive audience and can treat customers poorly. I try to use Sailrite whenever possible because they provide good customer service but shipping with them takes longer, and also they are an online vendor and you can't see and touch the fabrics. They do send out samples at a reasonable price.

Because we sell raw materials and cut goods, every order is different in size, weight, and packaging requirements. Our shopping cart cannot always calculate the exact shipping cost in advance, especially on smaller orders where costs can vary significantly.
We review shipments when they are processed and, when possible, adjust the shipping charges accordingly — which we did in this case. We always try to keep shipping as fair and accurate as possible while ensuring orders are packed safely and arrive in good condition.
