Very unpleasant smell from new mattress

We are still trying to get rid of the horrible smell from the new mattress seven weeks after receiving it even though we have followed the guidance regarding airing etc. Not impressed.
Delivery and service quality was excellent.

Sealy firm mattress…

We bought our Sealy mattress through Bensons for Beds. I knew that we were getting a good mattress buying Sealy because we've had one of these before. Sealy make great mattresses.

Good service from the point of purchase, good delivery service and a quality product.

I purchased the Dante

I purchased the Dante. Before purchasing I made several calls to Sealy to discuss the various models plus I went back twice to where I purchased it to try it out. I was told it was a medium, but it can't be as feels very firm and has no give. In store it felt fairly comfortable, but then I was wearing several layers of clothing as was February. The laytex layer on top, feels like lying on a 1/4" camping mat, on hard tufts of grass, on hard baked ground. If you roll on your side, your hip, shoulder and other bones in contact can't sink into the mattress, so it really hurts. I would have given it 0 stars, but the non roll edge is very good. You can sit on the side without rolling onto the floor. I am now stuck with an expensive mattress, I can't sleep on, so will have to spend money I don't have, to buy a different one. Very disappointed in Sealy. I've had Sealy Posturepedic mattresses since 1987, but will now look at other brands.

It’s reasonably comfortable but not what we hoped it would be

It’s fairly comfortable but absolutely nowhere near as comfortable as the mattress we tried in store; we both find it very firm to the point of being a little uncomfortable still and we’ve now had it for around 6 weeks and followed manufacturer instructions regarding turning/rotating initially.
Can’t fault delivery, haven’t had any follow up customer service from either Sealy or Bensons for Beds which is surprising given that we paid a small fortune for the mattress.

The bed has started to sink already…

The bed has started to sink already after just 4 months. This is disappointing as we had hight expectations for a premium mattress.

North sea mattress

We have a sealy mattress, its a round 2 years old and at first it was perfect great nights sleep, 2 years on the mattress is like the north sea its sunk all over.
Tried the shop we got it from to look at it as its got 10yrs warranty nothing.
Tried sealys customer service nothing, feels like we have wasted 1800 pound on a poorly made over priced mattress.

Sealy mattress simply the best!

This is our third Sealy mattress. We tried Hypnos at over £1,500 and after 2 years we threw it away and went back to Sealy. Our new Sealy mattress is so comfortable and we are sleeping much better with less aches and pains!
We will not go elsewhere now.

Great service

From the moment we walked into the store we knew we made the right choice. The staff were friendly and helpful, the delivery time of the bed was incredible and quick. Staff who delivered the bed were also friendly and helpful. The bed is very comfortable and looks fantastic.

Very comfortable

I had a Sealy bed quite a long time ago so I was expecting this Sealy Posturepaedic to be good. I have not been disappointed. Even though it is a firm bed it is very comfortable. I have had 2 hip replacements and this mattress gives me the comfort that I need. Very pleased with both the appearance and the experience of this bed.
