Red Star. Not Sea-Gull.
The product itself is of a good quality and it's beautiful, especially the movement. The delivery was quick.
But why then the only 2 stars?
1. It is not an original Sea-Gull watch. It is a Red Star watch. The original Sea-Gull 1963 watch has a little bit different design, the movement has 22 juwels, movement has the Sea-Gull abbreviations and it costs about 600€. You buy in this store the Red Star watch using the previous version of seagull movement. But you will not find any information about the Red Star manufacturer on this page. And this is a misleading of the customer, from my point of view.
2. Interesting fact, in the internet it is impossible to find a watch manufacturer with the name Red Star.
3. I didn't receive any receipt with my watch. Without original receipt you can nothing do, if you have any issues.

Great support
Had an issue with my new Seagull watch and contacted the support who helped me very quickly. I sent in the watch and got a brand new within a week. Very good and fast communication with the support team.
And the watch is just super nice and with a very interesting history! A must have for all watch enthusiasts! 😊

Seagull 1963 Black Edition
The Seagull 1963 Black Edition is a beautiful watch that has a permanent black coated case, a champagne dial, and provided with a quite elastic and comfortable parastrooper strap (even though harder to set than a NATO imo). It seems to be working well alongside the chronograph function, which is easy to trigger and stop with the push buttons.
The movement ST19 with Swan Neck is also very pleasant to watch through the transparent case back.
Finally it was shipped and delivered to France very quickly, in just 4 days. The packaging was solid and the watch box well presented, which is a welcomed nice touch.

The Watch is lovely
The Watch is lovely, sadly the 40mm is a bit too small for my wrist. So I returned to change for the bigger 42mm. The Support is also very helpful and answers very fast.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Response team was no help at all.
Had to settle the issue myself and paid tax for something I wanted to cancel.
Totally changed my view and impression towards Seagull. Had given the watch away as I would not want to be associated with the brand anymore.

Wrong watch was sent
Wrong watch was sent. Apparently it was an older model which I wanted but another model was sent instead. It has been a few days already and yet no resolution. To add to the inconvenience I now may have to take time to I send it back and make a trip to the post office which is so cumbersome due to my work hours. If it is out of stock just do a refund and inform me why send a wrong model and there is so much work to be done after that it is not even my fault. I hope your company can make arrangement for DHL to come collect from me at my own convenience to pick up the watch if return is the only resolution. I have no time to do the mail back or figure out how to do it.
